- the main object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a luggage case.
- the luggage manufactured by this method has the advantage of better structural strength.
- the manufacturing method of the luggage case includes the following steps: Step A. Using a vacuum molding method, a thermoplastic sheet is made into a case, the case having an outer surface, an inner surface, and a The accommodating area surrounded by the inner surface; Step B. Provide a heating mold with an inner cavity area, set the shell on the inner cavity area and make the outer surface of the shell correspond to the inner cavity area. Step C. A thermosetting plastic layer is disposed on the inner surface of the casing; and Step D.
- An airbag is disposed in the accommodating area of the casing, and the balloon is expanded to support the thermosetting plastic layer, At the same time, the heating mold is heated to the shell and the thermosetting plastic layer in the cavity mold area, so that the shell and the thermosetting plastic layer are combined with each other to make a luggage shell.
- the heating temperature of the inner cavity area is between 140 degrees and 150 degrees.

- step A or step B a step of providing a pattern on the inner surface of the casing by spray painting, printing or labeling is also included.
- the vacuum molding method is to provide a vacuum molding device having a mold body, and the thermoplastic sheet is placed in the vacuum molding device. After heating and softening, the vacuum forming apparatus generates negative pressure to attach the thermoplastic sheet to the surface of the mold to form the casing.
- thermosetting plastic layer is in a molten state.
- step D after the thermosetting plastic layer is heated by the heating mold, it is cured and adhered to the inner surface of the casing.
- a step E is further included to remove the airbag from the accommodating area of the casing, and cool the luggage case.
- thermosetting plastic layer on the inner surface of the casing, the structural strength of the casing can be strengthened, and it is not easy to be damaged due to external force collision or fall, and this manufacturing method can be based on different needs,
- the thermosetting plastic layer is provided at a specific position (for example, at four corners) on the inner surface of the casing for local reinforcement. It is not necessary to cover the entire inner surface of the casing with the thermosetting plastic layer. According to this, not only the reinforcing structure is achieved.
- the strength function can also reduce the overall weight of the luggage case.
