Abstract
L'invention concerne des dispositifs, des systèmes et des procédés permettant d'utiliser des unités zéro dans le codage vidéo et le codage d'images. Selon un aspect représentatif, un procédé de codage vidéo consiste à réaliser une détermination, pour un bloc de données vidéo ayant au moins une longueur ou une largeur dont le nombre de pixels n'est pas à la puissance deux, afin de coder le bloc de données vidéo en une représentation en flux binaire sans opération de transformation, et à réaliser un filtrage en boucle sur le résultat du codage, le type du filtre en boucle étant sélectionné sur la base de la détermination.
