Description

作物栽培装置及び作物栽培方法
 この発明は、栽培面積を増加させることなく作物の実を太陽光に向けて栽培することができる作物栽培装置及び作物栽培方法に関する。
 従来、例えば、作物がイチゴであればイチゴの実に太陽光が照射され、しかも、その受光量が多いほど収穫期のイチゴの実の着色や糖度、大きさに影響を与えることが知られている。
 従って、可能な限りイチゴの実に太陽光が照射されるよう様々な工夫がなされており、例えば、特許文献1に係る植物成育用補助柵では、栽培地に植栽されたイチゴに隣接して植物成育用補助柵を立設し、下部に形成された門型の切込み部分から茎に連接するイチゴの実を導出して栽培地上に載置することで植物成育用補助柵の前後において葉や葉柄等とイチゴの実を物理的に分離する技術が開示されている。
 また、特許文献2に係るイチゴ用高設栽培ベッドでは、高設用ベッド本体の上部に植栽されたイチゴにおいて、イチゴの茎に連接するイチゴの実を高設用ベッド本体の側部に枢止連結された紐やネットからなる果実支持板の上に載置することで葉や葉柄等とイチゴの実を物理的に分離し、しかも、果実支持板を下方から支持する支持棒により果実支持板の傾斜角度を調整自在に構成することでイチゴの実に対して太陽光の照射角度を調整自在とする技術が開示されている。

 確かに、特許文献1に係る植物成育用補助柵、及び特許文献2に係るイチゴ用高設栽培ベッドに記載の技術は、何れもイチゴの実が葉や葉柄等の陰とならず、イチゴの実に太陽光が効率よく照射される点で優れている。
 しかしながら、特許文献1では、植物成育用補助柵の前後において、すなわち略水平方向において葉や葉柄等とイチゴの実を離反させるため、一株の幅員が広くなり栽培面積を圧迫する結果、収穫量に制約が生じ、更に、イチゴの実が栽培地上に載置されるため、イチゴの実の下部側で栽培地と当接する部位には太陽光だけでなく反射光も到達しないため、イチゴの実に太陽光を照射する技術としては不十分であった。
 また、特許文献2では、支持棒により傾斜自在な果実支持板の上にイチゴの実を載置することで、果実支持板を略水平に可変しない限り特許文献1に記載の技術よりも一株の幅員は狭くなるものの、葉や葉柄等とイチゴの実を略水平方向で離反する構成である以上、栽培面積を圧迫することは避けられず、収穫量に制約が生じてしまう。
 また、高設用ベッド本体の側部に果実支持板を枢止連結し支持棒により果実支持板の傾斜角度を調整自在に構成した複雑な構造を採用しているため、部品点数が多く高価となり、しかも、組立やメンテナンスが煩雑なものとなってしまう。
 ここで、発明者は、ガク(へた)を有する作物の実は、ガクの内側(内表面)に十分な太陽光が照射されることで作物の実の糖度が向上することを見出し、上述の課題と共に創意工夫を行った。
 本発明は、以上のような事情に鑑みてなされたものであり、栽培面積を増加させることなく作物の実を太陽光に向けて栽培することができ、しかも、ガクを有する作物の実のガクの内側に十分な太陽光が照射されることで糖度の高い作物を得ることができる作物栽培装置及び作物栽培方法を提供する。
 以上のような目的を達成するために、本発明は以下のようなものを提供する。
 本発明は、下端部近傍に形成した埋設部を栽培地に埋設することで立設自在な支持具と、太陽光を通過自在で且つ案内孔を備えた支持床と、からなり、前記支持床の上面に前記案内孔を通して下方から移動させた作物の実を載置自在で、前記支持床の下方に作物の実以外の部分が位置するよう前記支持具の中途部に前記支持床を装着したことを特徴とする作物栽培装置を提供せんとする。
 本発明は、前記支持具は、前記支持床を傾斜して装着できるよう形成したことを特徴とする作物栽培装置である。
 本発明は、前記支持具は、2つの解放端を下方とする側面視略コ字状に形成し、前記解放端をなす2辺は前記埋設部を備えた棒状の支柱部であり、前記両支柱部の上端を所定の間隔で連接する連結部を備えたことを特徴とする作物栽培装置である。
 本発明は、前記支持具は、前記両支柱部に前記支持床を任意の高さに装着自在とする前記支柱部と同軸の円環状の凸部を上下に連続して複数形成し断面視波型に形成したことを特徴とする作物栽培装置である。
 本発明は、前記支持具は、前記連結部を傾斜させると共に、前記支柱部と前記連結部とが連接する箇所に支持床装着部を形成したことを特徴とする作物栽培装置である。
 本発明は、前記作物の実を前記支持床の上面に前記案内孔を通して下方から移動させ載置し、前記支持床の下方に前記作物の実以外の部分が位置するよう配置して作物を栽培することを特徴とする上記記載の作物栽培装置を用いた作物栽培方法である。
 本発明は、前記作物の実は、ガクを有する作物であり、前記ガクを含む前記作物の実を前記ガクの内側を太陽光の入射方向に対峙して前記支持床上に載置して作物を栽培することを特徴とする作物栽培方法である。
 本発明は、前記太陽光の入射方向と入射角度は、真南の南中高度であることを特徴とする作物栽培方法である。
 本発明によれば、下端部近傍に形成した埋設部を栽培地に埋設することで立設自在な支持具と、太陽光を通過自在で且つ案内孔を備えた支持床と、からなり、支持床の上面に案内孔を通して下方から移動させた作物の実を載置自在で、支持床の下方に作物の実以外の部分が位置するよう支持具の中途部に支持床を装着したことより、構造がシンプルで安価に製造でき、案内孔から支持床上に作物の実を容易に載置して作物の実に太陽光を略一様に照射でき、更に、作物の実と作物の実以外の部分とを支持床を介して鉛直方向に分離して配置できるので、栽培する一株の幅員が広くなることなく栽培面積を維持できるため、収穫量に不要な制約が生じることがない。
 しかも、下方より案内孔から導出した作物の実は、支持床上で作物の実を載置する方向に制約がないため、太陽光に対する作物の実の方向を状況に応じて適宜容易に変更することができる。
 本発明によれば、支持具は、支持床を傾斜して装着できるよう形成したことより、ガクを有する作物の実において、ガクの内側が太陽の方角となるよう支持床上に容易に載置して作物を栽培することができる。
 本発明によれば、支持具は、2つの解放端を下方とする側面視略コ字状に形成し、解放端をなす2辺は埋設部を備えた棒状の支柱部であり、両支柱部の上端を所定の間隔で連接する連結部を備えたことより、構造がシンプルで安価に製造でき、取り扱いも容易である。
 本発明によれば、支持具は、両支柱部に支持床を任意の高さに装着自在とする支柱部と同軸の円環状の凸部を上下に連続して複数形成し断面視波型に形成したことより、支柱部と支持床とを係止紐等の係止部材で支持床と共に支柱部の凸部に巻着等して容易に固定でき、更に、巻着等する凸部の箇所を任意に選択することで支柱部に支持床を任意の高さの任意の角度に固定することができる。
 本発明によれば、支持具は、連結部を傾斜させると共に、支柱部と連結部とが連接する箇所に支持床装着部を形成したことより、支持床を連結部の上面に載置しつつ支持床装着部に支持床を容易に係合等して略固定できるので、所定の間隙で栽培地に立設した支持具の連結部間に支持床を傾斜状態で容易に張設することができる。
 本発明によれば、作物の実を支持床の上面に案内孔を通して下方から移動させ載置し、支持床の下方に作物の実以外の部分が位置するよう配置して作物を栽培することより、作物の実が葉や葉柄等の陰にならず常に作物の実の表層やガクに太陽光が照射されるので、作物の実の着色や糖度のバラツキが少なく、大玉で糖度の高い作物の実を収穫することができる。
 本発明によれば、作物の実は、ガクを有する作物であり、ガクを含む作物の実をガクの内側を太陽光の入射方向に対峙して支持床上に載置して作物を栽培することより、作物の実だけでなく、ガクの内側の葉緑体にも十分な太陽光が照射されるので、更に、糖度の高い作物の実を収穫することができる。
 本発明によれば、太陽光の入射方向と入射角度は、真南の南中高度であることより、ガクの内側の葉緑体に太陽光を効率よく照射でき、大幅に糖度の高い作物の実を収穫することができる。
 また、南中高度が低い冬至の前後、すなわち、略11月頃から作物の実が着果し、略3月頃まで成長して肥大化するイチゴ等の作物においては、同時期に栽培した作物と比して大幅に糖度の高い作物の実を収穫することができる。

 本発明に係る作物栽培装置の要旨は、下端部近傍に形成した埋設部を栽培地に埋設することで立設自在な支持具と、太陽光を通過自在で且つ案内孔を備えた支持床と、からなり、支持床の上面に案内孔を通して下方から移動させた作物の実を載置自在で、支持床の下方に作物の実以外の部分が位置するよう支持具の中途部に支持床を装着したことを特徴とする。すなわち、栽培面積を増加させることなく作物の実を太陽光に向けて栽培することができる作物栽培装置の提供を図ろうとするものである。
 また、本発明に係る作物栽培方法の要旨は、ガクを有する作物の実において、支持床の上面に案内孔を通して下方から移動させたガクを含む作物の実をガクの内側を太陽光に向けて載置し、支持床の下方にガクを含む作物の実以外の部分が位置するよう配置して作物を栽培することを特徴とする。すなわち、ガクの内側に十分な太陽光が照射されることで糖度の高い作物を得ることができる作物栽培方法の提供を図ろうとするものである。
 ここで、本発明における作物とは、開花し受粉により着果した直後から作物の実が肥大し、作物の実の表層に葉緑体を生成して光合成により澱粉を蓄積する作物を示し、例えば、茎から果枝を伸ばす一年草のイチゴやトマト等、樹の枝葉の先から果枝を出す永年木のマンゴー、ミカン、柿、ビワ、キンカン、カボス等の柑橘類、更に、蔓性を有する葡萄、スイカ、ゴーヤ、モロッコインゲン、トウガン等である。
 このような作物は、作物の実に蓄積した澱粉を色素体に変化させる熟成期において澱粉を糖化しながら作物の実の表層や果肉中のアントシアンを増加させ、作物の葉だけでなく作物の実が太陽光を受光することで作物の実の表層や果肉の着色、糖度の向上が促進される作物である。
 また、発明者はイチゴやトマトのように区別できる程度のガク(へた)を有した作物において、ガクの内側(作物の実側)の葉緑体に太陽光を照射することで、少なくとも作物の実の糖度が大幅に向上することを見出しているが、本発明の実施形態に係る作物栽培装置及び作物栽培方法においてはガクの有無に関わらず作物はイチゴを対象として説明し図示している。
 なお、ガクの有無により各々の作物に寄与する効果が異なるものの、特に限定がない限り上述した全ての作物が対象となる。
 以下、本発明に係る作物栽培装置及び作物栽培方法の実施形態について図面を参照しながら説明する。また、本説明中において左右同一又は左右対称の構造や部品については、原則として同一の符号を付し、左右何れか一方のみを説明して、他方については説明を適宜省略する。
 本発明の実施形態に係る作物栽培装置1は、図1に示すように、下端部近傍に形成した埋設部4を栽培地Gに埋設することで立設自在な支持具2と、太陽光を通過自在で且つ案内孔17を備えた支持床14と、からなり、支持床14の上面に案内孔17を通して下方から移動させた作物(イチゴ)の実Fを載置自在で、支持床14の下方にイチゴの実F以外の部分が位置するよう支持具2の中途部に支持床14を装着して構成している。
 具体的には、支持具2は、支柱部3と連結部7とで形成した2つの解放端を下方とする側面視略コ字状に形成し、解放端をなす2辺は下部側を埋設部4として棒状に形成した支柱部3であり、両支柱部3の上端を所定の間隔で連接する部位を連結部7として構成している。
 また、支持床14は、所定長さの2本の連結棒15と外気と太陽光を通過自在な支持ネット(網)16とで構成し、連結棒15を支持具2の両支柱部3の間隙に近似した距離で平行に離反させ、両連結棒15間に支持ネット16を張設して形成している。
 支持ネット16は、図3に示すように、載置するイチゴの実Fが落下しない程度の格子状に形成し、栽培するイチゴの株数に応じた数の案内孔17を形成し、案内孔17は、少なくともイチゴの実Fが貫通する程度の孔径で形成している。
 なお、支持床14は、支持ネット16に限定されるものではなく、作物の実Fが安定して載置でき、透光率が70%以上であればよい。従って、外気を通過させないフィルムシート状であってもよく、しかも、支持床14は平面であることに限定されず、例えば、作物Aが永年木の柑橘類の場合、樹の形状に応じて上方に凸状のドーム型に形成する等、本発明の要旨の範囲内において種々の変形・変更が可能である。
 本実施形態では、図1に示すように、栽培地Gに所定の間隙で2つの支持具2を支柱部3が有する埋設部4を埋設して立設することで対向配置し、この両支持具2の各支柱部3に支持床14をなす連結棒15の端部を係止紐等の係止部材Kで巻着等して支持床14が略水平となるよう略固定することで作物栽培装置1が構成される。
 なお、本実施形態では支持具2を栽培地Gに略固定しているが、支持具2の設置場所は特に限定されるものではなく、例えば、栽培地Gに埋設することなく高設栽培の支持具2として用いたり等、支持床14を固定できるものであればよく、また、側面視略コ字状に形成されていなくても支持床14を固定できるのであれば、例えば、1本の棒状体であってもよい。
 このように作物栽培装置1を構成することで、支持床14がイチゴAを被覆するようイチゴAの上方に配置し、イチゴの実Fを下方から案内孔17を通して支持ネット16上に載置することができる。
 従って、イチゴの実Fは、葉Lや葉柄E等の陰に影響されることなく太陽光を略一様に受光でき、イチゴの実Fが備えるガクHの内側Uにも太陽光が照射され易くなった状態で容易に載置できるので、糖度の高いイチゴの実Fを栽培することができる。
 なお、支持具2と支持床14は、図4に示すように、支持具2は一本の棒状体を折曲して形成し、支持床14を支持ネット16のみで形成してもよい。
 この場合、支持具2には、支柱部3と連結部7とが連接する箇所を外方に突出して折曲した支持床装着部8を形成することで、支持床14を連結部7の上面に載置しつつ支持床装着部8に支持床14の格子部分を挿通等して係合させ略固定できるので、所定の間隙で栽培地Gに立設した支持具2の連結部7間に支持床14を容易に張設することができ、イチゴの実Fに太陽光が効率よく照射されるようイチゴの実Fを支持床14上に載置することができる。
 また、本発明に係る作物栽培装置1では、支持具2は、支持床14を傾斜して装着できるよう形成しているため、イチゴの実Fが備えるガクHの内側Uを太陽光の入射角度で容易に載置できるので、更に糖度の高いイチゴの実Fを容易に栽培することができる。
 具体的には、図2に示すように、栽培地Gに所定の間隙で2つの支持具2を支柱部3が有する埋設部4を埋設して立設することで対向配置し、この両支持具2の各支柱部3に支持床14をなす連結棒15の端部を係止紐等の係止部材Kで巻着等して支持床14が太陽光の入射角度となるように傾斜させ略固定することで作物栽培装置1を構成する。
 また、支持具2は、支持床14の設置高さと設置角度を容易に可変でき、支持具2への固定も容易とするよう形成することもできる。
 具体的には、図5に示すように、支持具2は、両支柱部3に支持床14を任意の高さに装着自在とする支柱部3と同軸の円環状の凸部5を上下に連続して複数形成し断面視波型に形成する。
 このように形成することで、凸部5間には凹部6が形成されるので、支柱部3と支持床14とを係止紐等の係止部材Kで支持床14と共に支柱部3の凸部5と凹部6を利用して巻着等して容易に固定でき、更に、巻着等する凸部5の箇所を任意に選択することで支柱部3に支持床14を任意の高さの任意の角度に固定することができる。
 また、本発明に係る作物栽培装置1では、支持具2は、両支柱部3の長さを違えて連結部7を傾斜させると共に、支柱部3と連結部7とが連接する箇所に支持床装着部8を形成することもできる。
 具体的には、図6(a)に示すように、支持具2は一本の棒状体を折曲して形成したものであり、両支柱部3の上端部と連接する連結部7が太陽光の入射角度となるように、両支柱部3の下端部を基準として一方の支柱部3aに対して他方の支柱部3bが長尺となるよう形成し、支柱部3と連結部7とが連接する箇所を外方に突出するよう折曲することで当該部分を支持床装着部8として形成している。
 このように形成することで、支持床14を連結部7の上面に載置しつつ支持床装着部8に支持床14の格子部分を挿通等して係合させ略固定できるので、所定の間隙で栽培地Gに立設した支持具2の連結部7間に支持床14を傾斜状態で容易に張設することができ、イチゴの実FのガクHの内側Uに太陽光が効率よく照射されるようイチゴの実Fを支持床14上に載置することができ、しかも、支持床14の高さを調節する必要があれば栽培地Gへの支持具2の埋設高さを上下させるだけで容易に高さ調整ができる。
 また、上述した支持具2は、連結部7を階段状に形成することもできる。
 具体的には、図6(b)に示すように、傾斜する連結部7の下側から上側にかけて所定の間隔で4箇所の段差9を設け、段差9は、下方に略直角に折曲した載置基準部10と、更に上方へ略直角に折曲した載置部11とで形成し、この段差9を連接することで連結部7形成している。
 このように形成することで、所定の間隙で栽培地Gに立設した支持具2間において、連結部7間に張設された傾斜した支持床14は、連結部7の段差9に倣って支持ネット16も略同様な段差9を形成するため、段差9を形成する載置基準部10と載置部11との交点に相当する支持ネット16の位置にイチゴの実Fを安定して載置でき、しかも、イチゴの実FのガクHの内側Uに太陽光を効率よく照射させることができる。
 なお、支持床14を傾斜させた図5、図6(a)、(b)で説明したような作物栽培装置1においては、栽培地Gの略水平な表面Gaを支持床14の傾斜角度と略同角度とした表面Gbに形成した栽培地G’とすることが望ましく、このように形成することで、栽培地G’における作物Aの位置に関わらず支持床14との距離を等しくして栽培することができ、この場合、図5に係る支持具2であれば両支柱部3の長さを違えて形成することで栽培地G’に立設し易く、図6(a)、(b)に係る支持具2であれば両支柱部3の長さを略同長さとすることで栽培地G’に立設し易くなる。
 以上、説明したように、本発明の実施形態に係る作物栽培装置1は、下端部近傍に形成した埋設部4を栽培地Gに埋設することで立設自在な支持具2と、太陽光を通過自在で且つ案内孔17を備えた支持床14と、からなり、支持床14の上面に案内孔17を通して下方から移動させたイチゴの実Fを載置自在で、支持床14の下方にイチゴの実F以外の部分が位置するよう支持具2の中途部に支持床14を装着したことより、構造がシンプルで安価に製造でき、案内孔17から支持床14上にイチゴの実Fを容易に載置してイチゴの実Fに太陽光を略一様に照射でき、更に、イチゴの実Fとイチゴの実F以外の部分とを支持床14を介して鉛直方向に分離して配置できるので、栽培する一株の幅員が広くなることなく栽培面積を維持できるため、収穫量に不要な制約が生じることがない。
 しかも、下方より案内孔17から導出したイチゴの実Fは、支持床14上でイチゴの実Fを載置する方向に制約がないため、太陽光に対するイチゴの実Fの方向を状況に応じて適宜容易に変更することができる。
 また、支持具2は、支持床14を傾斜して装着できるよう形成したことより、ガクHを有するイチゴの実Fにおいて、ガクHの内側Uが太陽の方角となるよう支持床14上に容易に載置してイチゴを栽培することができる。
 また、支持具2は、2つの解放端を下方とする側面視略コ字状に形成し、解放端をなす2辺は埋設部4を備えた棒状の支柱部3であり、両支柱部3の上端を所定の間隔で連接する連結部7を備えたことより、構造がシンプルで安価に製造でき、取り扱いも容易である。
 更に、支持具2は、両支柱部3に支持床14を任意の高さに装着自在とする支柱部3と同軸の円環状の凸部5を上下に連続して複数形成し断面視波型に形成したことより、支柱部3と支持床14とを係止紐等の係止部材Kで支持床14と共に支柱部3の凸部5に巻着等して容易に固定でき、更に、巻着等する凸部5の箇所を任意に選択することで支柱部3に支持床14を任意の高さの任意の角度に固定することができる。
 しかも、支持具2は、連結部7を傾斜させると共に、支柱部3と連結部7とが連接する箇所に支持床装着部8を形成したことより、支持床14を連結部7の上面に載置しつつ支持床装着部8に支持床14を容易に係合等して略固定できるので、所定の間隙で栽培地Gに立設した支持具2の連結部7間に支持床14を傾斜状態で容易に張設することができる。
 次に、本発明に係る作物栽培方法の実施形態について図面を参照しながら説明する。
 なお、本実施形態に係る以下の作物栽培方法では作物Aをイチゴとして説明しており、この場合、気温が略25℃となる9月下旬に植栽し、太陽の南中高度が最も低い冬至の前後である11月~3月下旬までの間に順次収獲する栽培方法として好適である。
 本発明の実施形態に係る作物栽培方法は、例えば、図1に示すように、イチゴの実Fを支持床14の上面に案内孔17を通して下方から移動させ載置し、支持床14の下方にイチゴの実F以外の部分が位置するよう配置してイチゴを栽培するものである。
 具体的には、栽培地Gにイチゴを植栽して花芽が出蕾し着果(植栽から略1月後)するまでの間に、2つの支持具2を所定の間隙で対向させて栽培地Gに立設し、支持床14を支持床14に形成した案内孔17がイチゴの株の上方に近接するよう支持具2に装着する。
 なお、イチゴの場合、支持床14は栽培地Gの表面Gaから20~25cm程度の高さに設置するが、高さについては状況に応じて適宜設定すればよく、特に限定されるものではない。
 この場合、支持床14は、栽培地Gに植栽したイチゴの株数や条数、畝幅等に応じた面積で、案内孔17の位置が株の真上に位置するよう形成し、支持具2においても栽培に適当な支柱部3の長さと幅員、高さを有した物を使用する。
 また、着果の有無に関わらず支持床14上に載置できる程度に果枝Cが成長したら、案内孔17から速やかに果枝Cを支持床14上に導出して載置する。なお、花芽が開花し受粉により着果すると果枝Cの成長と共にイチゴの実Fが肥大化して下垂し、葉Lや葉柄Eの陰になりイチゴの実Fへの太陽光の照射が阻害され易いため、出来るだけ早期に支持床14上に載置することが望ましい。
 このようにして栽培されたイチゴは、太陽光の照射が阻害されることなく表層やガクHに太陽光が照射されるので、イチゴの実Fの着色や糖度のバラツキが少なく、大玉で糖度の高いイチゴの実Fを収穫することができる。
 また、本発明の実施形態に係る作物栽培方法では、例えば、図2に示すように、作物の実Fが、イチゴ等のようにガクHを有する作物Aであれば、ガクHを含む作物の実FをガクHの内側Uを太陽光の入射方向に対峙して支持床上に載置して作物を栽培することもでき、更には、太陽光の入射方向と入射角度は、真南の南中高度(略32°)であることが望ましい。
 また、ガクHを有するイチゴの実Fにおいて、支持床14の上面に案内孔17を通して下方から移動させたガクHを含むイチゴの実FをガクHの内側Uを太陽光の入射方向に対峙して載置し、支持床14の下方にガクHを含むイチゴの実F以外の部分が位置するよう配置して作物を栽培するものであり、栽培地Gの表面Gaは、図5や図6(a)、(b)に示すように傾斜させた支持床14と略同角度の表面Gbを形成した栽培地G’であることが望ましい。
 具体的には、栽培地Gにイチゴを植栽して花芽が出蕾し着果するまでの間に、2つの支持具2を所定の間隙で対向させて栽培地Gに立設し、支持床14を支持床14に形成した案内孔17がイチゴの株の上方に近接し太陽光の入射方向に向けて傾斜するよう支持具2に装着する。
 この場合、支持床14と支持具2の構成は上述同様であり、支持床14の傾斜角度と方角は、太陽が最も高い位置となるときの地表への入射角度、すなわち、真南の南中高度に向けて固定するか、変化する南中高度に応じて定期的に支持床14の傾斜角度を変更する。
 また、着果の有無に関わらず支持床14上に載置できる程度に果枝Cが成長したら、案内孔17から速やかに果枝Cを支持床14上に導出して載置する。なお、花芽が開花し受粉により着果すると果枝Cの成長と共にイチゴの実Fが肥大化して下垂し、葉Lや葉柄Eの陰になりイチゴの実Fへの太陽光の照射が阻害され易いため、出来るだけ早期に支持床14上に載置することが望ましい。
 このように、支持床14上に載置されたイチゴの実Fは、図7(a)に示すように支持床14上で果枝Cが成長して前方に伸延すると共に、図7(b)に示すようにイチゴの実Fも肥大化するが、イチゴの実Fは、太陽光SLに向かって成長するため、最初に太陽光SLに向けてイチゴの実Fを載置すれば、栽培中にイチゴの実Fを太陽光SLの向きに移動させる必要はない。
 このようにして栽培されたイチゴは、ガクHの内側Uの葉緑体に太陽光を効率よく照射でき、大幅に糖度の高いイチゴの実Fを収穫することができる。
 ここで、9月下旬に植栽し、支持床14を太陽光の入射方向と入射角度が真南の冬至の南中高度の角度に固定して栽培し、冬至の前後にまたがり収獲した本実施形態に係る作物栽培方法で栽培したイチゴの実と、同時期において支持床14を用いずにイチゴの実が自重下垂する一般的な栽培方法で栽培したイチゴの実を3回に渡り比較調査したところ、本願の栽培方法によるイチゴの実の平均糖度は、一般的な栽培方法によるイチゴの実の平均糖度よりも2.0~2.5度高いものであった。
 また、イチゴの実の大きさを比較すると、大玉を示す所謂3L以上の出現率は、一般的な栽培方法に比して本願の栽培方法が略2倍の出現率となり、しかも、果形もよく内部に空洞も少ない良形のものであった。
 更に、着色については、一般的な栽培方法によるイチゴの実は、下垂状態では陰になりやすいガク近傍や、太陽光を受けない実の裏面側に着色不良が確認されたのに対し、本願の栽培方法によるイチゴの実は、まんべんなく濃い赤色に着色していることが確認された。
 しかも、着果から収穫までの期間も一般的な栽培方法に比して本願の栽培方法の方が略10日間早くなることが確認された。
 なお、上述した本発明の実施形態に係る作物栽培方法は一年草のイチゴを対象として説明したが、永年木や柑橘類でも基本的には同様であり、支持床14の上に作物の実Fを載置し、それ以外の部位は支持床14の下に位置するようにして栽培することができる。
 この場合、支持床14を配置し易いように永年木等の上部を略水平に剪定しておくことが望ましい。
 以上、説明したように、本発明の実施形態に係る作物栽培方法は、イチゴの実Fを支持床14の上面に案内孔17を通して下方から移動させ載置し、支持床14の下方にイチゴの実F以外の部分が位置するよう配置してイチゴを栽培することより、イチゴの実Fが葉Lや葉柄E等の陰にならず常にイチゴの実Fの表層やガクHに太陽光が照射されるので、イチゴの実Fの着色や糖度のバラツキが少なく、大玉で糖度の高いイチゴの実Fを収穫することができる。
 また、作物の実Fは、ガクHを有するイチゴであり、ガクHを含むイチゴの実FをガクHの内側Uを太陽光の入射方向に対峙して支持床14上に載置してイチゴを栽培することより、イチゴの実Fだけでなく、ガクHの内側Uの葉緑体にも十分な太陽光が照射されるので、更に、糖度の高いイチゴの実Fを収穫することができる。
 更に、太陽光の入射方向と入射角度は、真南の南中高度であることより、ガクHの内側Uの葉緑体に太陽光を効率よく照射でき、大幅に糖度の高いイチゴの実Fを収穫することができる。
 しかも、南中高度が低い冬至の前後、すなわち、略11月頃から作物の実Fが着果し、略3月頃まで成長して肥大化するイチゴ等の作物Aにおいては、同時期に栽培した作物Aと比して大幅に糖度の高い作物の実Fを収穫することができる。
 以上、本発明の本実施形態に係る作物栽培装置及び作物栽培方法の好ましい実施形態について説明したが、本発明は特定の実施形態に限定されるものではなく、種々の変形・変更が可能である。

Claims (8)

  1.  下端部近傍に形成した埋設部を栽培地に埋設することで立設自在な支持具と、
     太陽光を通過自在で且つ案内孔を備えた支持床と、からなり、
     前記支持床の上面に前記案内孔を通して下方から移動させた作物の実を載置自在で、
     前記支持床の下方に作物の実以外の部分が位置するよう前記支持具の中途部に前記支持床を装着したことを特徴とする作物栽培装置。
  2.  前記支持具は、前記支持床を傾斜して装着できるよう形成したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の作物栽培装置。
  3.  前記支持具は、2つの解放端を下方とする側面視略コ字状に形成し、前記解放端をなす2辺は前記埋設部を備えた棒状の支柱部であり、前記両支柱部の上端を所定の間隔で連接する連結部を備えたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の作物栽培装置。
  4.  前記支持具は、前記両支柱部に前記支持床を任意の高さに装着自在とする前記支柱部と同軸の円環状の凸部を上下に連続して複数形成し断面視波型に形成したことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の作物栽培装置。
  5.  前記支持具は、前記連結部を傾斜させると共に、前記支柱部と前記連結部とが連接する箇所に支持床装着部を形成したことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の作物栽培装置。
  6.  前記作物の実を前記支持床の上面に前記案内孔を通して下方から移動させ載置し、
     前記支持床の下方に前記作物の実以外の部分が位置するよう配置して作物を栽培することを特徴とする請求項1乃至5の何れか1項に記載の作物栽培装置を用いた作物栽培方法。
  7.  前記作物の実は、ガクを有する作物であり、前記ガクを含む前記作物の実を前記ガクの内側を太陽光の入射方向に対峙して前記支持床上に載置して作物を栽培することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の作物栽培方法。
  8.  前記太陽光の入射方向と入射角度は、真南の南中高度であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の作物栽培方法。
