Abstract

La présente invention concerne un nouveau Lactobacillus sakei WIKIM30 (numéro d'accès KCCM11878P) isolé à partir de Kimchi, ainsi qu'une composition le comprenant comme principe actif. Grâce à une excellente activité anticancéreuse dans des modèles animaux dans lesquels des cellules cancéreuses ont été transplantées et des lignées cellulaires cancéreuses, le Lactobacillus sakei WIKIM30 selon la présente invention peut être utilisé avantageusement comme composition pour le traitement, la prévention ou l'atténuation de symptômes d'un cancer chez l'homme ou l'animal.
