Abstract
Description
本出願は、2019年3月6日に出願された日本国特許出願2019-041004に基づく優先権を主張しており、その出願の全内容は本明細書中に参照として組み入れられている。
また、スチレン系ブロック共重合体に占めるジブロック体の割合(以下「ジブロック体比率」または「ジブロック比」ということがある。)は、次の方法により求められる。すなわち、スチレン系ブロック共重合体をテトラヒドロフラン(THF)に溶解し、東ソー(株)製GS5000HおよびG4000Hの液体クロマトグラフ用カラムをそれぞれ2段ずつ計4段を直列につなぎ、移動相にTHFを用いて、温度40℃、流量1mL/分の条件下で高速液体クロマトグラフィを行う。得られたチャートからジブロック体に対応するピーク面積を測定する。そして、全体のピーク面積に対する上記ジブロック体に対応するピーク面積の百分率を算出することにより、ジブロック体比率が求められる。
ここに開示される粘着シート(テープ状等の長尺状の形態であり得る。)は、例えば、図1に模式的に示す断面構造を有する両面粘着シートの形態であり得る。この両面粘着シート1は、繊維シート15と、繊維シート15の第一面側に積層された第一粘着剤層11と、繊維シート15の第二面側に積層された第二粘着剤層12とを備える。使用前(被着体への貼り付け前)の両面粘着シート1は、例えば図1に示すように、前面21Aおよび背面21Bがいずれも剥離面である剥離ライナー21と重ね合わされて渦巻き状に巻回された形態であり得る。かかる形態の両面粘着シート1では、第二粘着剤層12の表面(第二粘着面12A)が剥離ライナー21の前面21Aにより、第一粘着剤層11の表面(第一粘着面11A)が剥離ライナー21の背面21Bにより、それぞれ保護されている。あるいは、第一粘着面11Aおよび第二粘着面12Aが2枚の独立した剥離ライナーによりそれぞれ保護された形態であってもよい。
ここに開示される粘着シートは、粘着剤層が繊維シートに積層された構成を有する。上記繊維シートとしては、各種の繊維状物質の単独または混紡等による織布や不織布、編物、ネット等を用いることができる。ここで不織布とは、一般的な抄紙機を用いて作製されるような不織布、例えば和紙や上質紙等の紙類を包含する概念である。また、上記不織布の概念にはフェルトが含まれる。繊維シートを構成する上記繊維状物質の例には、後述のような天然繊維や化学繊維(合成繊維)の他、ガラス繊維やカーボン繊維等の無機繊維、金属繊維等が含まれる。材質の異なる2種以上の繊維状物質が併用されていてもよい。上記繊維シートは、粘着剤層を保持する支持基材としても把握され得る。
(ベースポリマー)
ここに開示される粘着剤層は、ベースポリマーとして、モノビニル置換芳香族化合物と共役ジエン化合物とのブロック共重合体を含有する。上記モノビニル置換芳香族化合物とは、ビニル基を有する官能基が芳香環に一つ結合した化合物を指す。上記芳香環の代表例として、ベンゼン環(ビニル基を有しない官能基(例えばアルキル基)で置換されたベンゼン環であり得る。)が挙げられる。上記モノビニル置換芳香族化合物の具体例としては、スチレン、α-メチルスチレン、ビニルトルエン、ビニルキシレン等が挙げられる。上記共役ジエン化合物の具体例としては、1,3-ブタジエン、イソプレン等が挙げられる。このようなブロック共重合体は、1種を単独で、または2種以上を併用してベースポリマーに用いることができる。
ここに開示される技術におけるブロック共重合体としては、被着体に対する粘着力(剥離強度)の観点から、ジブロック体比率が30重量%以上(より好ましくは40重量%以上、さらに好ましくは50重量%以上、特に好ましくは60重量%以上、典型的には65重量%以上)のものを好ましく用いることができる。剥離強度の観点から、ジブロック体比率が70重量%以上のブロック共重合体が特に好ましい。また、凝集性等の観点から、ジブロック体比率が90重量%以下(より好ましくは85重量%以下、例えば80重量%以下)のブロック共重合体を好ましく用いることができる。例えば、ジブロック体比率が60~85重量%のブロック共重合体が好ましく、70~85重量%(例えば70~80重量%)のものがより好ましい。
ここに開示される粘着剤層は、上記ベースポリマーに加えて粘着付与樹脂を含む。上記粘着付与樹脂として、軟化点が120℃未満の粘着付与樹脂と、軟化点が120℃以上の粘着付与樹脂とを含有する粘着剤層が好ましい。
ここに開示される技術において、上記粘着付与樹脂は、軟化点が120℃以上の粘着付与樹脂(以下、「粘着付与樹脂TH」と表記することがある。)を含有することが好ましい。耐反撥性や高温凝集性の観点から、粘着付与樹脂THの軟化点は、125℃以上であることが好ましく、130℃以上であることがより好ましく、135℃以上(例えば140℃以上)であることがさらに好ましい。また、被着体に対する剥離強度等の観点から、粘着付与樹脂THの軟化点は、通常、200℃以下が適当であり、好ましくは180℃以下、より好ましくは170℃以下(例えば160℃以下)である。
[水酸基価の測定方法]
1.試薬
(1)アセチル化試薬としては、無水酢酸約12.5g(約11.8mL)を取り、これにピリジンを加えて全量を50mLにし、充分に攪拌したものを使用する。または、無水酢酸約25g(約23.5mL)を取り、これにピリジンを加えて全量を100mLにし、充分に攪拌したものを使用する。
(2)測定試薬としては、0.5mol/L水酸化カリウムエタノール溶液を使用する。
(3)その他、トルエン、ピリジン、エタノールおよび蒸留水を準備する。
2.操作
(1)平底フラスコに試料約2gを精秤採取し、アセチル化試薬5mLおよびピリジン10mLを加え、空気冷却管を装着する。
(2)上記フラスコを100℃の浴中で70分間加熱した後、放冷し、冷却管の上部から溶剤としてトルエン35mLを加えて攪拌した後、蒸留水1mLを加えて攪拌することにより無水酢酸を分解する。分解を完全にするため再度浴中で10分間加熱し、放冷する。
(3)エタノール5mLで冷却管を洗い、取り外す。次いで、溶剤としてピリジン50mLを加えて攪拌する。
(4)0.5mol/L水酸化カリウムエタノール溶液を、ホールピペットを用いて25mL加える。
(5)0.5mol/L水酸化カリウムエタノール溶液で電位差滴定を行う。得られた滴定曲線の変曲点を終点とする。
(6)空試験は、試料を入れないで上記(1)~(5)を行う。
3.計算
以下の式により水酸基価を算出する。

ここで、
B: 空試験に用いた0.5mol/L水酸化カリウムエタノール溶液の量(mL)、
C: 試料に用いた0.5mol/L水酸化カリウムエタノール溶液の量(mL)、

S: 試料の重量(g)、
D: 酸価、
28.05: 水酸化カリウムの分子量56.11の1/2、
である。
ここに開示される技術において、上記粘着付与樹脂は、粘着付与樹脂THに加えて、軟化点120℃未満の粘着付与樹脂(以下、「粘着付与樹脂TL」と表記することがある。)を含有することが好ましい。粘着付与樹脂THと粘着付与樹脂TLとを組み合わせて用いることにより、粘着性と凝集性とをバランスよく両立させることができる。これにより、高い剥離強度を示す粘着シートを好適に実現し得る。
ここに開示される粘着剤組成物は、さらにイソシアネート化合物を含有し得る。イソシアネート化合物は、粘着剤の凝集性を向上させ、より高い剥離強度を示す粘着シートの実現に役立ち得る。イソシアネート化合物としては、多官能イソシアネート(1分子当たり平均2個以上のイソシアネート基を有する化合物をいい、イソシアヌレート構造を有するものを包含する。)が好ましく使用され得る。かかる多官能イソシアネートとしては、1分子中に2個以上のイソシアネート基を有する各種のイソシアネート化合物(ポリイソシアネート)から選択される1種または2種以上を用いることができる。かかる多官能イソシアネートの例として、脂肪族ポリイソシアネート類、脂環族ポリイソシアネート類、芳香族ポリイソシアネート類等が挙げられる。
ここに開示される技術における粘着剤層は、本発明の効果を大きく損なわない限度で、必要に応じて、ベースポリマー以外のゴム状ポリマーを1種または2種以上を含んでもよい。かかるゴム状ポリマーは、粘着剤の分野において公知のゴム系、アクリル系、ポリエステル系、ウレタン系、ポリエーテル系、シリコーン系、ポリアミド系、フッ素系等の各種ポリマーであり得る。ここに開示される技術は、上記粘着剤層がベースポリマー以外のゴム状ポリマーを実質的に含有しない態様(例えば、ベースポリマー100重量部当たりの含有量が0~1重量部である態様)で好ましく実施され得る。
好ましい他の一態様において、上記粘着剤組成物は、キレート化合物を実質的に含まない組成であり得る。ここで、上記キレート化合物とは、例えば、アルカリ土類金属の酸化物と、該酸化物が配位可能な官能基(水酸基、メチロール基等)を有する樹脂(アルキルフェノール樹脂等)とのキレート化合物を指す。ここに開示される技術は、上記粘着剤組成物が、このようなキレート化合物を全く含まないか、あるいは該キレート化合物の含有割合が1重量%以下である態様で好ましく実施され得る。かかる態様によると、より粘着力に優れた粘着シートが実現され得る。
ここに開示される技術における粘着剤層は、ベースポリマーと粘着付与樹脂とを含む粘着剤組成物から形成された層であり得る。ここに開示される粘着剤組成物の形態は特に限定されず、例えば、上述のような組成の粘着剤(粘着成分)を有機溶媒中に含む形態(溶剤型)の粘着剤組成物、粘着剤が水性溶媒に分散した形態(水分散型、典型的には水性エマルション型)の粘着剤組成物、ホットメルト型の粘着剤組成物等であり得る。繊維シートへの含浸性および粘着性の観点から、いくつかの態様において、溶剤型の粘着剤組成物から形成された粘着剤層が好ましい。
粘着剤組成物の塗布は、例えば、グラビアロールコーター、リバースロールコーター、キスロールコーター、ディップロールコーター、バーコーター、ナイフコーター、スプレーコーター等の、公知ないし慣用のコーターを用いて行うことができる。架橋反応の促進、製造効率向上等の観点から、粘着剤組成物の乾燥は加熱下で行うことが好ましい。通常は、例えば凡そ40℃~150℃(典型的には40℃~120℃、例えば50℃~120℃、さらには70℃~100℃)程度の乾燥温度を好ましく採用することができる。乾燥時間は特に限定されないが、数十秒から数分程度(例えば凡そ5分以内、好ましくは30秒~2分程度)とすればよい。その後、必要に応じて追加の乾燥工程を設けてもよい。粘着剤層は、典型的には連続的に形成されるが、目的および用途によっては点状、ストライプ状等の規則的あるいはランダムなパターンに形成されてもよい。
ここに開示される粘着シートの総厚は、典型的には、該粘着シートに含まれる繊維シートの厚さより大きく、かつ2000μm未満とすることができる。いくつかの態様において、上記粘着シートの総厚は、例えば1000μm未満であってよく、500μm未満でもよく、400μm未満でもよく、350μm未満でもよい。また、粘着シートの総厚は、例えば60μm以上であってよく、剥離強度向上の観点から100μm超であることが好ましく、150μm超であることがより好ましく、180μm超でもよく、200μm超でもよく、240μm超でもよく、280μm超でもよい。
(1) 繊維シートと該繊維シートに積層された粘着剤層とを含む粘着シートであって、
上記粘着剤層は、ベースポリマーと粘着付与樹脂とを含み、
上記ベースポリマーは、モノビニル置換芳香族化合物と共役ジエン化合物とのブロック共重合体であり、
上記粘着付与樹脂は、軟化点が120℃未満の粘着付与樹脂と、軟化点が120℃以上の粘着付与樹脂とを含有し、
上記繊維シートは、厚さが15μm以上50μm以下であり、かつ嵩密度が0.25g/cm3以上0.50g/cm3以下である、粘着シート。
(2) 上記繊維シートは、嵩密度が0.35g/cm3を超えて0.50g/cm3以下である、上記(1)に記載の粘着シート。
(3) 上記繊維シートは、坪量が15g/m2以上25g/m2以下である、上記(2)に記載の粘着シート。
(4) 上記繊維シートは、坪量が10g/m2未満であり、かつ厚さが15μm以上25μm以下である、上記(2)に記載の粘着シート。
(5) 上記粘着シートの厚さは、上記繊維シートの厚さの4倍以上である、上記(1)~(4)のいずれかに記載の粘着シート。
(6) ステンレス鋼板に対する180度剥離強度が40N/20mm以上である、上記(1)~(5)のいずれかに記載の粘着シート。
(7) 上記180度剥離強度の測定において上記ステンレス鋼板と上記粘着シートとの界面で剥離が進行する、上記(6)に記載の粘着シート。
(8) 上記繊維シートを構成する繊維状物質が天然繊維である、上記(1)~(7)のいずれかに記載の粘着シート。

上記ベースポリマーおよび上記粘着付与樹脂を含む粘着剤組成物から上記粘着剤層を形成すること;および、
上記繊維シートに上記粘着剤層を積層すること;
を包含する、粘着シート製造方法。
ベースポリマーとしてのスチレンイソプレンブロック共重合体(日本ゼオン株式会社製、製品名「クインタック(Quintac)3520」、スチレン含有量15%、ジブロック体比率78%)100部と、芳香族系石油樹脂(JX日鉱日石エネルギー社製、製品名「日石ネオポリマー150」、軟化点155℃、水酸基価1mgKOH/g未満)20部と、テルペンフェノール樹脂40部と、テルペン樹脂30部と、イソシアネート化合物(東ソー社製、製品名「コロネートL」)を固形分基準で0.75部と、老化防止剤3部と、溶媒としてのトルエンとを撹拌混合して、NV50%の粘着剤組成物を調製した。
ここで、テルペンフェノール樹脂としては、ヤスハラケミカル株式会社製の商品名「YSポリスターS145」(軟化点145℃、水酸基価100mgKOH/g)と、同社製の商品名「YSポリスターT145」(軟化点145℃、水酸基価60mgKOH/g)との二種類を、1:1の質量比で、それらの合計が40部となるように使用した。テルペン樹脂としては、ヤスハラケミカル社製の製品名「YSレジンPX1150N」(軟化点115℃、水酸基価1mgKOH/g未満)を使用した。老化防止剤としては、BASF社製の製品名「IRGANOX CB612」(BASF社製の製品名「IRGAFOS 168」と同社製の製品名「IRGANOX 565」との質量比2:1のブレンド配合物)を使用した。
(例1)
上質紙の片面に厚さ25μmのポリエチレン層がラミネートされ、その上にシリコーン系剥離剤による剥離処理が施されたシート状の剥離ライナーを用意した。この剥離ライナーの剥離処理面に、上記で得た粘着剤組成物を塗布して乾燥させることにより、上記剥離ライナー上に厚さ150μmの粘着剤層を形成した。この粘着剤層を、表1に示す厚さ、嵩密度および坪量を有する繊維シートaの第一面に貼り合わせて第一粘着剤層とした。同様にして、上記剥離ライナー上に厚さ150μmの粘着剤層を形成し、これを上記繊維シートaの第二面に貼り合わせて第二粘着剤層とした。このようにして、繊維シートの第一面および第二面に第一粘着剤層および第二粘着剤層がそれぞれ積層され、各粘着剤層の表面が上記剥離ライナーで保護された積層体を得た。次いでこの積層体を圧力0.3MPa、速度0.5m/分の条件で100℃のラミネータに1回通過させた後、23℃の環境下で1時間養生して、本例に係る両面粘着シートを得た。
繊維シートaに代えて繊維シートb~gをそれぞれ使用した他は例1に係る粘着シートの作製と同様にして、各例に係る粘着シートを作製した。
各例に係る両面粘着シートの一方の粘着面を覆う剥離ライナーを剥がし、厚さ25μmのポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)フィルムを貼り付けて裏打ちした。この裏打ちされた粘着シートを幅20mm、長さ100mmのサイズにカットして試験片を作製した。23℃、50%RHの環境下にて、上記試験片の他方の粘着面を覆う剥離ライナーを剥がし、該試験片を被着体の表面に、2kgのローラを1往復させて圧着した。これを同環境下に30分間放置した後、JIS Z 0237に準じて、引張試験機を用いて引張速度300mm/分の条件で180°引き剥がし粘着力(N/20mm)を測定した。測定は3回行い(すなわちN=3)、それらの算術平均値を求めた。結果を表1に示した。

Claims (6)
- 繊維シートと該繊維シートに積層された粘着剤層とを含む粘着シートであって、
前記粘着剤層は、ベースポリマーと粘着付与樹脂とを含み、
前記ベースポリマーは、モノビニル置換芳香族化合物と共役ジエン化合物とのブロック共重合体であり、
前記粘着付与樹脂は、軟化点が120℃未満の粘着付与樹脂と、軟化点が120℃以上の粘着付与樹脂とを含有し、
前記繊維シートは、厚さが15μm以上50μm以下であり、かつ嵩密度が0.25g/cm3以上0.50g/cm3以下である、粘着シート。 - 前記繊維シートは、嵩密度が0.35g/cm3を超えて0.50g/cm3以下である、請求項1に記載の粘着シート。
- 前記繊維シートは、坪量が15g/m2以上25g/m2以下である、請求項2に記載の粘着シート。
- 前記繊維シートは、坪量が10g/m2未満であり、かつ厚さが15μm以上25μm以下である、請求項2に記載の粘着シート。
- 前記粘着シートの厚さは、前記繊維シートの厚さの4倍以上である、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の粘着シート。
- ステンレス鋼板に対する180度剥離強度が40N/20mm以上である、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の粘着シート。
