  • the upper workstation is provided with a side wall, floor, and roof, and with a lateral access opening that extends over the height of the upper workstation to allow for lateral introduction of an upper portion of the lower pipe section and of a lower portion of the upper pipe section into the upper workstation and into the firing line, for example said lower and upper pipe section being joined to one another ahead of being introduced laterally into the upper workstation, e.g. the joint being inspected and/or coated in the upper workstation.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un ensemble de transport et de stockage de sections de tuyaux permettant de transporter et de stocker des sections de tuyaux. L'ensemble comprend une caisse de stockage pour le stockage de sections de tuyaux, et une section supérieure de caisse en combinaison avec la caisse de stockage pour définir une caisse de transport de type boîte. La caisse de stockage comprend deux cadres de support en forme de U et un cadre d'espacement pour raccorder de manière libérable les cadres de support. La section supérieure de caisse est conçue pour raccorder de façon libérable les cadres de support, pour ainsi, en combinaison avec les deux cadres de support de sections de tuyaux et le cadre d'espacement de sections de tuyaux, définir une caisse de transport de type boîte. La section supérieure comprend une ou plusieurs montures pour accoupler la section supérieure à une grue, pour permettre à la caisse de transport de sections de tuyaux d'être soulevée par la grue.
