일반적으로 자동차에 설치되는 백 미러는 자동차의 실외에 설치되어 주로 차체의 옆쪽 및 뒤쪽을 확인하는 아웃사이드 미러와 자동차의 실내에 설치되어 리어 윈도우를 통하여 뒤쪽의 상황을 확인하는 인사이드 미러로 대별된다. 어느 미러에 대해서나 요구되는 기능은 뒤쪽과 옆쪽의 외부정보를 뒤를 돌아보지 않고서도 볼 수 있어야 하며, 또 직접 시계로 잡힐 수 없는 차체 근처 맹역부의 정보를 운전석에 앉은 채로 볼 수 있도록 영상으로서 운전자에게 제공하는 것이다.

도 3은 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 차량용 보조미러모듈(이하, '본 발명'이라 한다.)의 장착 상태를 도시한 사시개념도이다. 도 4 및 도 5 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 차량용 보조미러모듈의 작용상태를 도시한 개념도이다.
도 3을 참조하면, 본 발명은 일측단과 타측단이 개구되며, 상기 일측단과 상기 타측단을 연결하며, 내측에는 광이 경유하는 통로부가 구현되는 광경로가이드부(10), 상기 광경로 가이드부(10)의 일측단에 배치되는 제1렌즈부(12)와, 상기 타측단에 배치되는 제2렌즈부(13), 상기 제1렌즈부(12)를 투과한 입사광(L1)을 상기 통로부 내에서 반사시켜, 상기 제2렌즈부(13)로 출사시키는 출사광(L2)으로 가이드하는 반사체부, 상기 광경로가이드부(10)의 외면에 마련되어, 차량의 사이드미러 또는 본넷에 고정시키는 고정부(20)를 포함하여 구성될 수 있다.
구체적으로, 상기 광경로 가이드부(10)는 도 3에 도시된 것과 같이, 사이드미러에 장착되거나, 차량의 본넷위에 장착되는 구조(도 9 참조)로 배치될 수 있다. 일실시예로서 도 3의 구조는 사이드 미러에 장착되는 구조로 배치되는 광경로 가이드부(10)를 예시한 것이다.
상기 광경로 가이드부(10)는 일측단과 타측단이 개구된 구조로, 내부에는 통로부가 구현되는 구조로 구현되며, 상기 일측단 부분에는 제1렌즈(12)가 장착되며, 상기 타측단 부분에는 제2렌즈(13)이 장착되는 구조로 구비된다.
상기 제1렌즈((12) 또는 상기 제2렌즈(13)이 장착되는 일측단과 타측단 부분은, 차량의 진행방향의 측후방 방향의 영역을 효율적으로 비추고, 차량의 진행방향의 측후방 방향에서 입사되는 이미지(또는 광)을 효율적으로 도입하기 위하여, 렌즈의 배치각도를 조절할 수 있도록 경사진 구조로 구현할 수 있다. 이를테면, 도 3에 도시된 구조와 같이, 차량의 진행방향의 측후방 방향의 영역 이미지를 전달받기 위한 구조로 비스듬한 경사면을 가지는 일측단을 형성하고, 여기에서 통로부를 경유하여 전달된 이미지가, 제2렌즈로 전달되되, 운전자가 운전석에서 용이하게 육안으로 관찰할 수 있도록, 타측단도 경사진 구조로 구현할 수 있도록 한다.
아울러, 상기 광경로가이드부(10)는, 상기 통로부가 하나로 연통되는 일체형의 단중식관구조로 구성되거나, 통로부가 하나로 연통되는 일체형의 단중식관구조가 2개이상 배치되는 이중관구조로 구현될 수 있다.
나아가, 상기 광경로가이드부(10)는 도 3에 도시된 것과 같이, 전체적인 외형이 직선형 구조의 각기둥에 일측단과 타측단에 경사면을 구현하고 렌즈를 배치하는 외형을 가질 수 있으나, 이에 한정되는 것은 아니며, 절곡된 구조, 완만한 곡률을 가지는 구조등 다양하게 변경될 수 있다.
상기 광경로가이드부(10)가 어떠한 외형을 가질 것인지는, 차량의 형태나 배치위치에 따라 용이하게 변형될 수 있으며, 사각지대의 이미지를 제1렌즈를 통해 입사받고, 내부의 반사미러를 통해 반사시켜, 타측의 제2렌즈로 전달하여 운전자가 제2렌즈를 통해서 사각지대의 이미지를 용이하게 확인할 수 있는 구조라면, 본 발명의 요지에 포함된다 할 것이다.
또한, 상기 광경로가이드부(10)는 도 3에서와 같이, 다양한 차량의 형태 특히, 차체의 부착부분이 되는 사이드 미러나 본닛의 형태에 따라 다양하게 조절이 가능하다.
특히 상기 광경로가이드부(10)는 차체의 부착부분이 되는 사이드 미러나 본닛의 부착방식으로는, 접착제나 볼트를 이용하여 고정하거나, 자석등을 이용하여 장착하는 것도 가능하다.
이러한 상기 광경로가이드부(10)의 부착방식의 일예로서, 도 3의 장착예를 들어 설명하면, 상기 광경로가이드부(10)는, 차량의 사이드미러(2a) 또는 본넷에 자석이나 접착물질, 또는 고정부재를 이용하여 결합하는 고정베이스(21)와, 상기 고정베이스(21)과 상기 광경로가이드부(10)을 연결하며, 상기 광경로가이드부(10)의 배치각도를 조절하여 광의 입사방향을 제어할 수 있도록 하는 연결부(22)를 포함하는 고정부(20)를 이용하여 장착할 수 있다.
아울러, 광경로가이드부(10)는 도 3에 도시된 것과 같이, 광경로가이드부(10)의 장착위치를 기준으로, 가상의 수직축(Z)과 수평축(X)을 정의할 때, 수직축(Z)을 중심으로 일정 부분 회전할 수 있도록 구성되며, 수평축(X)을 기준으로 회전가능하도록 구현될 수 있다.
아울러, 도 4 및 도 5에 도시된 일예와 같이, 이러한 본 발명의 광경로가이드부(10)의 기능을 구현하기 위한 주요 구성 중 하나로, 상기 광경로가이드부(10)의 내측에 적어도 하나 이상 배치되는 단위반사미러(14, 15, 16)를 포함하여 구성될 수 있도록 한다.
즉, 상기 광경로가이드부(10)의 내측에 단위반사미러(14, 15, 16)를 배치하여, 제1렌즈(12)에서 입사되는 광(또는 이미지:L1)가 제1반사미러(14)와 제2반사미러(15), 그리고 제3반사미러(16)을 경유하여 반사하며, 최종적으로는 제2렌즈(13)을 경유하여 출사하게 되며, 운전자는 이렇게 출사되는 출사광(또는 출사이미지: L2)를 육안으로 확인할 수 있게 된다.
이러한 상기 단위 반사미러의 개수는 자유롭게 조절이 가능함은 물론이며, 장착된 상태에서 일정한 각도로 단위 반사미러의 표면의 위치를 조절할 수 있도록 하는 반사체각도조절부(도 8: 141, 151, 161 참조)를 더 포함하여 구성될 수 있다.
상기 단위 반사미러는 평면거울이나, 구면거울일 수 있다, 아울러, 본 발명에서의 제1렌즈 및 제2렌즈는 구면렌즈를 적용할 수 있다.
도 6은 본 발명의 다른 형태의 광경로가이드부(10)의 외형을 도시한 예시 개념도로, 전체적인 외형이 도 3에서 도시된 것과 같은 직선형 구조를 가지는 것 외에, 완만한 곡면을 가지는 구조로 구현할 수 있는 예를 도시한 것이다.
물론, 도 6에 도시된 구조의 형상외에도, 상기 광경로가이드부(10)의 외형은 다양한 형태의 각기둥, 절곡부가 다수 구현되는 불규칙한 외형(도 10 참조), 이중관식으로 구현되는 구조(도 9 참조) 등과 같이 다양한 형태로 확장 변형이 가능하다.
도 7은 본 발명의 광경로가이드부(10)의 회전동작이 가능한 작용상태 기능을 설명하기 위한 개념도로, 도 3에서 설명한 광경로가이드부(10)의 수평축(X), 수직축(Z) 회전 동작시, 측후방 방면 영역의 사각지대 이미지를 효율적으로 확인하게 위해 회전 제어할 수 있도록 구현되는 동작을 구현한 것이다. 이러한 조절 각도 범위는 광경로가이드부(10)의 길이방향의 수평축(X)를 기준으로, 20°~ 85°의 범위에서 자유롭게 설정될 수 있다. 이는 운전자의 편의에 따라 용이하게 조절이 가능한 범위로, 이 범위를 벗어나는 경우에는 사각지대의 영역을 벗어나는 영역이 되는바, 운전자가 육안으로 직접 확인이 가능한 범위에 해당되게 된다.
도 8은 본 발명의 광경로가이드부(10)의 내부에 장착되는 단위 반사미러의 배치 각도를 조절하는 반사체각도조절부(141, 151, 161)가 배치된 예를 도시한 것이다.
즉, 도 8에 도시된 반사체각도조절부(141, 151, 161)는 광경로가이드부(10)의 내부에 장착되는 단위 반사미러의 개수 만큼 구현될 수 있으며, 광경로가이드부(10)의 외부에서 단위 반사미러의 반사각을 조절할 수 있도록 하여, 필요시, 운전자가 보다 명확한 범위의 영역의 시야를 확보할 수 있도록 하는 기능을 수행하게 된다.
상기 반사체 각도조절부의 경우, 도 8에 도시된 구조는 간단한 구조(동전이나, 드라이버 등)의 기구물을 이용하여 조절할 수 있도록, 홈이 형성된 나사헤드 모양으로 구현된 헤드부만 노출된 구조가 예시되어 있으나, 이에 한정되는 것은 아니며, 돌출형 구조를 갖는 버튼형상이나 바(bar) 형상의 외형을 구비하도록 하여, 사용자가 손으로 각도조절이 가능하도록 구현하는 것도 가능하다.
도 9는 본 발명의 다른 실시예에 따른 보조미러모듈의 배치의 예시도이다.
도 9를 참조하여 보면, 도시된 구조는 보조미러모듈의 구조를 변형하여, 차량(C)의 본넷(엔진룸의 덮개) 위에 장착하는 구조를 도시한 것이다.
이 구조는 차량의 본넷의 중심부(X)에, 통로부가 하나로 연통되는 일체형의 단중식관구조가 2개이상 배치되는 이중관구조로 구현한 구조물로 구현된 광경로가이드부를 장착한 것이다.
즉, 우선 제1방향에서 입사하는 광을 반사부를 경유하여 차량의 전면방향인 제2방향으로 출사하도록 절곡되는 제1광경로가이드부(10A)와, 상기 제1방향의 반대방향은 제3방향에서 입사하는 광을 반사부를 경유하여, 차량의 전면방향인 제2방향으로 출사하도록 절곡되는 제2광경로가이드부(10B)를 상호 밀착하여 형성하되, 전체적으로 "T" 자형 외관을 가지는 구조로 구현한다.
이 구조에서는, 상기 제1광경로가이드부(10A)와 상기 제2경로가이드부(10B)는 출사되는 광의 렌즈부가 상호 인접하도록 배치되어, 양쪽 측후방의 방향에서 입사되는 광이나 이미지를 운전자가 육안으로 확인할 수 있도록 하는 장점이 구현된다.
차량의 본넷의 중심부(X)에 광경로가이드부를 장착하는 경우의 장점은, 차량의 좌회전 또는 우회전의 방향전환시, 본넷 중심부(X)에 장착된 광경로가이드부의 제2렌즈부(13a, 13b)에서 좌측후방 또는 우측후방의 사각지대를 육안 확인이 가능하게 되는바, 운전자의 편의성이 증진되게 된다.
또한, 본 발명의 광경로가이드부는 사이드미러 양쪽에 장착되도록 하거나, 도 9에서와 같이 차량 본넷의 중심부에 장착되거나, 사이드미러와 차량 본넷 중심부 모두에 장착하는 구조로 구현하는 것도 가능하다.
물론, 차량의 본넷에 장착하는 구조로, 도 9와 같은 "T" 자형 외관을 가지는 구조로 한정되는 것은 아니며, 다양한 절곡구조로 양측 측후방에서 입사되는 이미지를 확인할 수 있도록 구현하는 것도 가능함은 물론이다.
도 10은 광경로가이드부의 외관에 다양한 절곡을 구현하는 일예를 도시한 것이다.
상기 광경로가이드부(10)의 외형에 다양하게 절곡을 구현하는 것은, 도 10에 도시된 것과 같이, 사용자의 필요에 따라 일정한 곡률을 구현하고, 내부에 반사체를 다수 배치하는 구조로 구현하여 이용성을 높일 수 있다. 즉, 육안으로 운전자가 주로 확인하고자 하는 지점 또는 시야각도를 필요에 따라 조절할 수 있다.
또한, 광경로가이드부(10)는 외표면에 커버부재(11)를 부가할 수 있으며, 상기 커버부재(11)의 각 절곡부(11a, 11b, 11c)는 벨로우즈와 같이 각도조절이 가능하게 구성될 수 있다. 이를 위해 상기 커버부재(11)는 가요성 소재를 상기 광경로가이드부(10)의 내벽면에 반사미러(14, 15, 16) 이외에도 추가적인 보조반사미러(14', 14", 15', 16', 19)를 다양하게 설치할 수 있다.
도 10의 도시된 절곡구조는 "M" 자형 절곡구조를 구현하고 있지만, 필요에 따라 "L" 자형, "S" 자형 등 다양한 구조로 변형이 가능한 것을 알 수 있으며, 이러한 절곡구조의 구조물은 도 9에서 상술한 "T" 자형 광경로 가이드부를 구현하고자 하는 경우에도 적용될 수 있다.
전술한 본 발명의 설명은 예시를 위한 것이며, 본 발명이 속하는 기술분야의 통상의 지식을 가진 자는 본 발명의 기술적 사상이나 필수적인 특징을 변경하지 않고서 다른 구체적인 형태로 쉽게 변형이 가능하다는 것을 이해할 수 있을 것이다. 그러므로 이상에서 기술한 실시예들은 모든 면에서 예시적인 것이며 한정적이 아닌 것으로 이해해야만 한다.
Claims (5)
- 일측단과 타측단이 개구되며, 상기 일측단과 상기 타측단을 연결하며, 내측에는 광이 경유하는 통로부가 구현되는 광경로가이드부(10);상기 광경로 가이드부의 일측단에 배치되는 제1렌즈부(12)와, 상기 타측단에 배치되는 제2렌즈부(13);상기 제1렌즈부(12)를 투과한 입사광(L1)을 상기 통로부 내에서 반사시켜, 상기 제2렌즈부(13)로 출사시키는 출사광(L2)으로 가이드하는 반사체부;상기 광경로가이드부(10)의 외면에 마련되어, 차량의 사이드미러 또는 본넷에 고정시키는 고정부(20);를 포함하는,차량용 보조미러모듈.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,상기 광경로가이드부(10)는,상기 통로부가 하나로 연통되는 일체형의 단중식관구조로 구성되며,상기 반사체부는, 상기 광경로가이드부(10)의 내측에 적어도 하나 이상 배치되는 단위반사미러(14, 15, 16)를 포함하는,차량용 보조미러모듈.
- 청구항 2에 있어서,상기 광경로가이드부(10)는,상기 통로부가 하나로 연통되는 일체형의 단중식관구조가 2개이상 배치되는 이중관구조로 구현되되,제1방향에서 입사하는 광을 반사부를 경유하여 차량의 전면방향인 제2방향으로 출사하도록 절곡되는 제1광경로가이드부(10A);상기 제1방향의 반대방향은 제3방향에서 입사하는 광을 반사부를 경유하여, 차량의 전면방향인 제2방향으로 출사하도록 절곡되는 제2광경로가이드부(10B);를 구비하며,상기 제1광경로가이드부(10A)와 상기 제2경로가이드부(10B)는 출사되는 광의 렌즈부가 상호 인접하도록 배치되는,차량용 보조미러모듈.
- 청구항 3에 있어서,상기 광경로가이드부(10)는,차량의 사이드미러 또는 본넷에 자석이나 접착물질, 또는 고정부재를 이용하여 결합하는 고정베이스(21);와,상기 고정베이스(21)과 상기 광경로가이드부(10)을 연결하며, 상기 광경로가이드부(10)의 배치각도를 조절하여 광의 입사방향을 제어할 수 있도록 하는 연결부(22);를 더 포함하여 구성되는,차량용 보조미러모듈.
- 청구항 4에 있어서,상기 광경로가이드부(10)의 내측에는, 상기 단위반사미러의 배치 각도를 조절하는 반사체각도조절부(141, 151, 161)를 더 포함하는,차량용 보조미러모듈.
