Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Akkumulatormodul (26) umfassend ein feuchtigkeitsdichtes Gehäuse (28), in dem mehrere Akkumulatorzellen (31) angeordnet sind, deren Kontakte miteinander elektrisch verschaltet sind und die zu Außenkontakten (30) des Akkumulatormoduls (26) geführt sind, die an der Außenseite des Gehäuses (28) angeordnet sind. Um auf möglichst einfache und effiziente Weise einen Kurzschluss zwischen den Außenkontakten (30) des Akkumulatormoduls (26) detektieren zu können, wird vorgeschlagen, dass im Inneren des Gehäuses (28) eine Schutzeinrichtung (35) angeordnet ist, die eine Detektionseinrichtung (36) umfasst, die ausgebildet ist, einen Kurzschluss zwischen den Außenkontakten (30) zu detektieren. Außerdem betrifft die Erfindung eine Schwimm- und Tauchhilfe (10) mit einem solchen Akkumulatormodul (26).
