La présente invention concerne un appareil ménager de traitement à la vapeur (1) qui comporte une chambre de cuisson (2), un vaporisateur (5) qui comporte au moins un élément chauffant (6) pour chauffer un liquide (F, W) reçu dans une région de réception d'eau (7) du vaporisateur (5), un récipient de stockage (9) qui est reçu dans l'appareil ménager de traitement à la vapeur (1) pour recevoir un agent nettoyant (R), un premier dispositif de transport (P1), dont le côté d'entrée est relié au récipient de stockage (9) et dont le côté de sortie est relié à la région de réception d'eau (7), et un dispositif de commande (10) pour actionner au moins le premier dispositif de transport (P1) pendant un processus de nettoyage, le récipient de stockage (9) ayant un volume de stockage (V) qui est dimensionné de façon à stocker une quantité d'agent nettoyant (R) qui est suffisante pour des processus de nettoyage multiples.
