Abstract
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine, while registered in a non-standalone mode, that a UE capability of the UE does not support an antenna configuration received from a cell, based at least in part on transmitting a service request to the cell for a New Radio data service, and transmit an attach request to the cell based at least in part on the determining that the UE capability of the UE does not support the antenna configuration received from the cell.
