Definitions
- the present invention relates to a cosmetic composition, specifically, to a multilayer emulsion cosmetic composition comprising an inner phase of a hydrogel layer, an intermediate phase of an organogel layer, and an outer phase of a water layer.
- emulsified cosmetics are used to provide various effective ingredients to the skin, and emulsified cosmetics are generally oil-in-water (O/W) and water-in-oil (W). /O) type formulation. All of them contain an oil phase and an aqueous phase, so they can provide a softening effect and a moisturizing effect.
- O/W oil-in-water
- W water-in-oil
- /O water-in-oil
- water-in-oil formulations have excellent makeup durability and water resistance, but have disadvantages in that they do not give a fresh feeling due to stickiness and oily feeling, and have poor feeling of application and spreadability.
- unstable components among various active ingredients it is difficult to stably support them in conventional emulsified cosmetics, and there are problems such as precipitation or separation of active ingredients in the formulation.
- the present invention provides a multi-layer emulsion cosmetic composition that does not contain a surfactant and exhibits excellent stability.
- the multilayer emulsion cosmetic composition of the present invention includes an inner phase of a hydrogel layer, an intermediate phase of an organogel layer, and an outer phase of a water layer.
- the present invention provides a multi-layer emulsion cosmetic composition that exhibits excellent stability due to high stability of an interfacial film between an aqueous phase and an oil phase without containing a surfactant.
- the cosmetic composition according to the present invention does not contain a surfactant, so it is less irritating to the skin and is environmentally friendly, and as a multi-layer emulsion formulation, it has excellent application, spreadability, and feeling of use, as well as durability and water resistance.
- the cosmetic composition of the present invention is suitable for simultaneously stabilizing oil-soluble and water-soluble active ingredients in one formulation because the middle phase and the inner phase do not come into contact with air due to the structural characteristics of the multilayer emulsion.
- Example 1 is a photomicrograph of the intermediate phase of Example 1.
- Example 4 is a photomicrograph of the W/O formulation of Example 4.
- Example 5 is a photomicrograph of the W/O formulation of Example 5.
- Example 6 is a photomicrograph of the W/O formulation of Example 6.
- Example 7 is a photomicrograph of the W/O/W formulation of Example 7.
- the present invention relates to a multilayer emulsion cosmetic composition, which includes an inner phase of a hydrogel layer, an intermediate phase of an organogel layer, and an outer phase of a water layer.

- the content of the hydrogel-forming material is less than the above range, the hydrogel may not be formed, and when it exceeds the above range, the hydrogel may not be broken on the skin due to the increase in hardness.
- the salt includes at least one salt of an alkali metal salt and an alkaline earth metal salt and a phosphate salt.
- Alkali metal salts and alkaline earth metal salts serve to harden the hydrogel, and phosphate salts serve to delay the curing rate. Therefore, the hydrogel phase of the multilayer emulsion can be stably formed by mixing the two salts.

- Phosphate (Disodium Pyrophosphate) and the like may be used, and these may be used alone or in combination of two or more.
- the phosphate salt may be included in an amount of 0.0025 to 0.25% by weight, for example, 0.005 to 0.125% by weight based on the total weight of the inner wound. If the content of the phosphate salt is less than the above-mentioned range, the effect of delaying the curing rate is insufficient, and the curing rate is too fast, which may affect the uniformity of particle size. It is too slow and can hinder gel formation and make the formation of spherical particles difficult.
- the inner wound may contain an active ingredient.
- an active ingredient for example, niacinamide, adenosine, hyaluronic acid, azelaic acid, ascorbic acid, kojic acid, glycolic acid Glycolic acid, arbutin, peptides, and the like may be included.

- the organogel-forming material may be included in an amount of 5 to 40% by weight, for example, 10 to 20% by weight based on the total weight of the mesophase. If the content of the organogel-forming material is less than the above range, organogel may not be formed, or even if it is formed, it may be formed weakly, resulting in reduced particle holding power and stability. However, it can be difficult to prepare multi-layer emulsions.
- the intermediate phase may include a stabilizer.
- the stabilizer maintains a stable multi-layer emulsion by enhancing the stabilization of the organogel by exhibiting a thickening effect and an effect of preventing oil sweating.
- the stabilizer includes Disteardimonium Hectorite, Stearalkonium Hectorite, Quaternium-18 Hectorite, Dihydrogenated Tallow Benzylmonium Hectorite ( Dihydrogenated Tallow Benzylmonium Hectorite), Montmorillonite, Bentonite, Attapulgite, Sepiolite, Calcium Silicate, Silica, Silica Silylate, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Polymethylsilsesquioxane/Silica Crosspolymer, Mica, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Nylon-6 , Iron Oxides, Tin Oxide, Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Titanium Dioxide, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Polymethylsilsesquioxane (Polymethylsilsesquioxane) and the like, and these may be used alone or in combination of two or more.
- the stabilizer may be included in an amount of 5 to 40% by weight, for example, 10 to 20% by weight based on the total weight of the mesophase.
