Definitions
- the present invention relates to a polyester resin water-based dispersion composition and water-based adhesives, water-based paints, coating agents, and water-based inks using the same.
- Additives called film-forming aids are generally used as a method of promoting fusion between dispersed particles and forming a uniform coating film or adhesive layer without coating film defects.
- Patent Document 1 discloses that a film-forming aid is added to an acrylic resin dispersion to prepare a water-based acrylic resin dispersion (corresponding to a paint). Aliphatic saturated carboxylic acid monoesters such as hexanoic acid diethylene glycol mono-n-butyl ether ester and 3,5,5-trimethylhexanoic acid diethylene glycol mono-n-butyl ether ester are described.
- Patent Document 2 discloses that film-forming performance can be imparted by containing a specific organic solvent in the water-based urethane resin composition. Acetate, dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether and the like are mentioned.
- the present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a polyester resin aqueous dispersion composition having excellent storage stability, film-forming properties, tackiness, adhesiveness and water resistance.
- the present inventors have found that storage stability and film formation are improved by using a polyester resin aqueous dispersion composition containing a film forming aid having a specific Hansen solubility parameter.
- the present inventors have found that the properties are improved, and as a result, it is possible to form coating films and adhesive layers that are excellent in tackiness, adhesiveness and water resistance, and have completed the present invention. That is, the present invention has the following configurations.
- a layer (A layer) comprising the polyester resin aqueous dispersion composition according to any one of [1] to [5] above and a layer selected from the group consisting of films, sheets, woven fabrics, nonwoven fabrics and paper ( B layer).
- a packaging material comprising the laminate according to [10] as a component.
- the polyester resin aqueous dispersion composition of the present invention has very excellent storage stability and film-forming performance, and is excellent in tackiness, water resistance, and adhesiveness. It can be used as a surface protective coating agent for resin substrates, a surface protective coating agent for metal substrates, an adhesive, and the like.
- the polyester resin (A) used in the present invention is not particularly limited, but it is a polyester having a chemical structure obtained by polycondensation of a polyhydric carboxylic acid component and a polyhydric alcohol component, and a covalent hydroxycarboxylic acid and a lactone. It is preferably polymerized. In the case of a polyester having a chemical structure obtained by polycondensation of a polyhydric carboxylic acid component and a polyhydric alcohol component, at least one of the polyhydric carboxylic acid component and the polyhydric alcohol component is copolymerized from two or more components. A polyester resin is preferable from the viewpoint of the water dispersibility of the polyester resin. Moreover, the polyhydric carboxylic acid component and the polyhydric alcohol component are preferably a copolymer polyester resin mainly composed of a dicarboxylic acid component and a glycol component.
- an aromatic dicarboxylic acid component As the polyvalent carboxylic acid component, an aromatic dicarboxylic acid component, an alicyclic dicarboxylic acid component or an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid component is preferable, and among these, an aromatic dicarboxylic acid component is more preferable.
- the copolymerization amount of the aromatic dicarboxylic acid component is preferably 50 mol% or more, more preferably 55 mol% or more, still more preferably 60 mol%, when the total amount of the polyvalent carboxylic acid component is 100 mol%. mol % or more, particularly preferably 65 mol % or more. When it is 50 mol % or more, the storage stability and the mechanical strength of the resulting coating film are improved.
- the copolymerization amount of the aromatic dicarboxylic acid component may be 100 mol %.
- aromatic dicarboxylic acid component/aliphatic dicarboxylic acid component 50 to 99/50 to 1. More preferably 60-95/40-5, more preferably 70-90/30-10.
- aromatic dicarboxylic acids include, but are not limited to, terephthalic acid, isophthalic acid, orthophthalic acid, and naphthalenedicarboxylic acid.
- aliphatic dicarboxylic acids include, but are not limited to, succinic acid, adipic acid, azelaic acid, sebacic acid, and dodecanedicarboxylic acid. These dicarboxylic acid components can be used alone or in combination of two or more.
