- FIG - 8 shows types of frame in the version with a flat frame.
- FIGS. 9 - 16 show views of the frame in the version with an L-shaped frame.
- FIGS. 17 - 25 show views of the frame in the version with a U-shaped frame.
- the invention relates to technological hatches installed in an opening of a wall, ceiling or floor, in particular to inspection or inspection hatches to provide access to various hidden voids, rooms, communications, and devices. Because the forms openings and their location can be different, the technological hatch can also have a different shape.
- the present invention includes three embodiments of the frame: flat, L-shaped and U-shaped. All three options share the same special technical features and meet the requirement of unity of invention.
- the frame of the technological hatch contains a frame 1 and a supporting structure 2, which are most preferably made of a closed steel profile.
- Closed profiles mean, for example, bent closed welded square and rectangular profiles intended for structural steel structures. Such profiles are usually produced on specialized machines by forming a round tubular section with a longitudinal weld and then compressing it with rollers into a square or rectangular profile.
- the frame 1 it is advisable to make the frame 1 from a square profile, and the supporting structure 2 from a rectangular one. In some cases, it may make sense to make frame 1 from solid metal rods or a round or oval profile.
- the traditional shape of the technological hatch and, accordingly, the frame is the shape of a rectangle, in particular a square.
- Frame 1 can be made in the form of sequentially connected sections of a profile in the form of a four-sided closed flat contour. It is advisable to connect the profile sections by welding.
- the joints of the connected sections can have ends made either at 90 degrees or with a different cut angle, for example, at 45 degrees.
- the supporting structure 2 can be made in the form of three profile sections connected in series in one plane, forming three sides of a U-shape, inside which frame 1 is placed.
- the supporting structure 2 is intended for fastening in the opening of a wall or other building structure and is technologically performed in the same way as frame 1.
- the supporting structure 2 and the frame 1 have the shape of an opening into which they are installed.
- the proposed design can ensure installation of the frame in an opening of any shape.
- the supporting structure 2 is hingedly connected to the said frame 1 by the free ends of its outer sides, as shown in Figure 1.
- the hinge connection 3 can be made in the form of a male element (for example, a rod) and a female element (for example, a sleeve). Gaskets, lubricants, balls, or other means that facilitate the rotation of frame 1 can be placed inside the bushing. Male and female elements can be attached both to frame 1 and to the supporting structure 2.
- the thickness of the frame 1 should preferably not exceed the thickness of the supporting structure 2.
- the plane of the frame 1 will not extend beyond the plane of the supporting structure 2 and the thickness of the frame will be determined by the thickness of the supporting structure 1 or in other words the width of the profile from which the sides of the supporting structure 2 are made, as shown in Fig.2-Fig.7.
- the thickness of the frame 1 should not exceed half the thickness of the supporting frame 2.
- the supporting structure 2 contains through holes 5 in a closed steel profile for fastening elements, and the diameter of the holes in the side of the profile facing the frame is larger than the diameter of the holes on the opposite side of the profile. This allows the heads of fasteners, such as screws, to be placed inside the profile. If the thickness of frame 1 does not exceed half the thickness of the supporting frame 2, this will allow the holes 5 to be positioned so that they are accessible even when frame 1 is closed
- the frame may contain a frame rotation limiter (lock), which does not allow frame 1 to be rotated inside the opening.
- the rotation limiter for example, a magnetic lock
- the rotation limiter can be installed on special protrusions 7, fixed inside the U-shaped supporting structure 2, on one of its three sides.
- Frame 1 may contain flat steel elements 8, attached perpendicular to the edges of the closed steel profile, forming the inner perimeter of the contour. Such flat elements, together with the edges of the profile, form a recess into which the substrate 9 for the facing material can be installed (shown by the dotted line in Fig. 2, Fig. 4).
- One of the sides of the corner profile can be used as flat elements 8, while the second side of the corner profile is welded to the corresponding face of the profile, from which frame 1 is made.
- Holes 10 can be made in the flat elements 8 to secure the substrate 9.
- the substrate can be attached to the frame in any suitable way.
- the frame of the technological hatch according to the first option works as follows.
- the supporting structure 2 is fixed in the opening of a wall, shaft, floor, ceiling or other element of the building by means of fasteners, as shown in Fig. 8. Due to the larger diameter of the holes 5 for fasteners along the inner perimeter, the heads of the fasteners will be located inside the metal profile.
- a substrate 9 is installed into the frame 1 by means of fastening means (for example, screws) (shown conventionally with dashed lines in Fig. 2 and Fig. 4).
- the substrate 9 can be plasterboard, asbestos-cement or plastic board, plywood or other suitable sheet material on which the cladding 11 is fixed (for example, ceramic tiles, plaster, panel).
- the facing material can be attached directly to the profiles of the frame 1.
- the substrate 9 can be attached to the frame 1 before installing the frame in the opening.
- the substrate 9 and/or facing material installed on the frame 1 forms the door of the technological hatch, as shown in Fig.8.
- the facing material 11 attached to the frame must match the shape of the opening being closed, for an aesthetic or complete final appearance.
- the width of the facing material 11 exceeds the width of the hatch frame, since this will ensure that the door opens at an angle of more than 90 degrees and provides more convenient access to the hidden cavity.
- Fig. 8 shows two extreme positions of the hatch door.
- bevels 4 allows you to open the hatch door with the facing material installed on it at an angle of more than 90 degrees.
- a bevel of at least 25 degrees must be made on its inner side.
- a handle (not shown) can be attached to the door.
- the user can gain access to the hidden cavities by turning the door, including the frame 1, to the open position.
- the absence of movable or retractable levers in the design eliminates sagging of the hatch door, which ensures a minimum gap between the facing material 11 and 12.
- the presence of bevels 4 ensures that in the closed position of the hatch door there is a minimum gap between the facing material 11 and 12 without the use of movable levers in the frame design when opening is possible hatch doors at an angle of more than 90 degrees.
- the frame of the technological hatch contains a frame 1 and a supporting structure 2, which are also most preferably made of a closed steel profile.
- the frame 1 also from a square profile, and the supporting structure 2 from a rectangular one.
- the frame elements can also be made of a metal corner profile or a profile of any suitable shape.
- the traditional shape of technological openings and, accordingly, frame contours is the shape of a rectangle, in particular a square. Accordingly, in In case of installation at corner joints, an L-shaped opening usually consists of two rectangular openings connected at right angles.
- Frame 1 is made in the form of two four-sided flat contours 13 and 14 connected at right angles (Fig. 9-1 1 ).
- Each of the contours of the frame 1 can be made in the form of sequentially connected sections of a profile in the form of a four-sided closed flat contour. It is advisable to connect the profile sections by welding.
- the joints of the connected sections can have ends made either at 90 degrees or with a different cut angle, for example, at 45 degrees.
- the supporting structure 2 is made of a closed steel profile in the form of two L-shaped supports 15 and 16, upper and lower, respectively.
- Each of the L-shaped supports 15 and 16 may have a long side and a short side, as shown in FIGS. 9-16, or sides of equal length.
- the ends of the sides of the mentioned L-shaped supports 15 and 16 are connected by means of a hinge 3 with the frame 1 so that in the closed position the projection of the frame 1 repeats the projection of the mentioned L-shaped supports, as shown in Fig. 10, 1 1 and 13.
- L-shaped supports 15 and 16 can be made removable.
- the end sections of the sides of the L-shaped supports 15 and 16 in the area where the hinge joint 3 is located contain bevels 4 located opposite to the direction of opening of the frame 1.
- the supporting structure 2 is designed to secure the corner junction of walls or other building structures in the opening and is technologically performed in the same way as the frame 1.
- the supporting structure 2 and frame 1 have the shape of a corner opening into which they are installed.
- the proposed design can ensure installation of the frame in a corner opening of any shape.
- Articulated connection 3 can be made in the form of a male element (for example, a rod) and a female element (for example, a sleeve). Gaskets, lubricants, balls, or other means that facilitate the rotation of frame 1 can be placed inside the bushing. Male and female elements can be attached both to frame 1 and to L-shaped supports.
- the thickness of the contours 13 and 14 of the frame 1 should preferably not exceed the thickness of the L-shaped supports of the supporting structure 2.
- the planes of the frame 1 will not extend beyond the planes formed by the supporting structure 2 and the dimensions of the frame according to the thickness will be determined by the size of the L-shaped supports 15, 16 or in other words by the width of the profile from which the sides of the supporting structure 2 are made, as shown in Figures 2, 3 and 5.
- the thickness of the contours of the frame 1 does not exceed half size of L-shaped supports 15, 16.
If the thickness of frame 1 does not exceed half the thickness of the supporting frame 2, this will allow you to position the holes 5 so that they are accessible even when the frame 1 is closed
- the frame may contain a frame rotation limiter (lock), which does not allow frame 1 to be rotated inside the opening.
- a rotation limiter for example, a magnetic lock
- a rotation limiter can be installed on special protrusions 7, mounted on L-shaped supports 15, 16 and facing the frame 1, as shown in Fig. 1 1. In this design, you can do without a limiter if When closing the hatch door there will be a natural stop in the form of a part of the wall or opening.
10, Fig. 12).
- One of the sides of the corner profile can be used as flat elements 8, while the second side of the corner profile is welded to the corresponding face of the profile from which the frame 1 is made.
- Holes 10 can be made in the flat elements 8 to secure the substrate 9.
- the substrate can be attached to the frame in any suitable way.
- the frame of the technological hatch according to the second option works as follows.
- L-shaped supports 15, 16 of the supporting structure 2 are secured in the corner opening of a wall, shaft, floor, ceiling or other element of the building by means of fasteners, as shown in Fig. 16. Due to the larger diameter of the holes 5 for fasteners along the inner perimeter, the heads of the fasteners will be located inside the metal profile.
- a substrate 9 is installed by means of fastening means (for example, screws) (shown conventionally with dashed lines in Figs. 9, 10, 12, 15).
- the substrate 9 and/or facing material installed on the frame 1 forms a technological hatch door, a fragment of which is shown in Fig. 16.
- the cladding material 11 attached to the frame must match the shape of the corner opening being closed, for an aesthetic or complete final appearance.
- the width of the facing material 11 exceeds the width of the hatch frame, since this will ensure that the door opens at an angle of more than 90 degrees and provides more convenient access to the hidden cavity.
- Fig. 16 shows fragments of the two extreme positions of the hatch door.
- the absence of movable or retractable levers in the design eliminates sagging of the hatch door, which ensures a minimum gap between the facing material 11 and 12, and also allows this technological hatch to be made of any size without compromising its performance qualities and characteristics.
- the presence of bevels 4 ensures that in the closed position of the hatch door there is a minimum gap between the facing material 11 and 12 without the use of movable levers in the frame structure when it is possible to open the hatch door at an angle of more than 90 degrees.
- bevels 4 provides in this design the ability to open the hatch door at an angle of more than 90 degrees, without using a system of movable levers, which can lead to sagging of the hatch door.
- the frame of the technological hatch also contains a frame 1 and a supporting structure 2, which are also most preferably made from a closed steel profile or from a profile of any suitable shape.
- Individual frame elements can be made of steel strip.
- the frame 1 it is advisable to make the frame 1 also from a square profile, and the supporting structure 2 from a rectangular one. In some cases, it may make sense to make the elements of frame 1 from solid metal rods or a profile with a round or oval section, as well as from a metal corner profile or profile of any suitable shape.
- the traditional shape of technological openings and, accordingly, frame contours is the shape of a rectangle, in particular a square.
- the frame 1 is made in the form of a flat metal contour 13, to the opposite sides of which two flat metal contours 14 are attached on both sides.
- the contours 14 can have a four-sided shape and are attached, in particular, at right angles. The most common design option is to make contours 13 and 14 in the shape of rectangles. Thus, the projection of frame 1 when viewed from above is U-shaped.
- the attached contours 14 can have either the same or different sizes.
- the side contours 14 may have a common side with the main contour 13.
- the supporting structure 2 is made of a closed steel profile in the form of two supports 15 and 16, upper and lower, respectively.
- Each of the supports 15 and 16 has a projection that follows at least part of the projection of the frame 1, and may contain a long and short side, as shown in the figures, or the sides may have the same length.
- Figures 117-23 show an embodiment in which the projection of the supports 15 and 16 completely repeats the projection of the frame 1, i.e. and frame 1 and supports 15 and 16 are U-shaped in plan.
- Figure 25 shows an embodiment in which the projection of the supports 15 and 16 repeats only part of the projection of the frame 1.
- the extent to which the projection of the supports 15 and 16 should repeat the projection of the frame 1 is determined by considerations of strength and reliability and depends on the operating conditions of the product.
- One of the ends of the sides of the supports 15 and 16 are connected by means of a hinge 3 with the frame 1 so that in the closed position the projection of the supports 15 and 16 repeats the projection of the frame 1 either completely (Fig. 17-23) or partially (Fig. 25).
- the supports 15 and 16 can be made removable.
- the end sections of the sides of the supports 15 and 16 in the area where the hinge joint 3 is located contain bevels 4 located opposite to the direction of opening of the frame 1.
- the supporting structure 2 is designed to secure a U-shaped junction of walls or other building structures in the opening and is technologically performed in the same way as frame 1. Thus, the supporting structure 2 can follow the shape of the opening either completely or partially.
- the frame 1 has the shape of a U-shaped opening into which it is installed, and the supports 15 and 16 may have a shape that partially coincides with the shape of the U-shaped opening.
- the proposed design can ensure installation of the frame in a U-shaped opening of any shape.
- the supports 15 and 16 are hingedly connected to the frame 1 by the free ends of their sides, as shown in Fig. 17.
- the hinge connection 3 can be made in the form of a male element (for example, a rod) and a female element (for example, a sleeve). Gaskets, lubricants, balls, or other means that facilitate the rotation of frame 1 can be placed inside the sleeve.
- Male and female elements can be attached both to frame 1 and to supports 15 and 16.
- the thickness of the contours 13 and 14 of the frame 1 should preferably not exceed the thickness of the supports of the supporting structure 2.
- the planes of the frame 1 will not extend beyond the planes formed by the supporting structure 2 and the dimensions of the frame in terms of thickness will be determined the size of the supports 15, 16 or in other words the width of the profile from which the sides of the supporting structure 2 are made, as shown in Figs. 18, 19 and 21.
- the thickness of the contours of the frame 1 should not exceed half the size of the supports 15, 16.
- the frame may contain a frame rotation limiter 17 (lock), which does not allow the frame 1 to be rotated inside the opening.
- the rotation limiter for example, a magnetic lock
- the rotation limiter can be installed on special protrusions 7, mounted on supports 15, 16 and facing the frame 1, as shown in Fig. 19. If, when closing the hatch door, have a natural stop in the form of part of a wall or opening, then the presence of a limiter is not necessary.
- Frame 1 may contain flat steel elements 8, attached perpendicular to the edges of the closed steel profile, forming the inner perimeter of the contour. Such flat elements, together with the edges of the profile, form a recess into which the substrate 9 for the facing material can be installed (shown by the dotted line in Figs. 18 and 20).
- the frame of the technological hatch according to the third option works as follows.
- the frame is made based on the size and shape of the U-shaped opening. To do this, select the appropriate dimensions and shape of the supports 15 and 16, as well as the contours 13 and 14 of the frame. If necessary, the length of the side sides 15 and 16 of the supports and the corresponding dimensions of the frame contours 14 can be different, depending on the shape of the opening, i.e.
- the U-shape may be asymmetrical.
- the supports 15, 16 of the supporting structure 2 are fixed by means of fasteners in the opening of a wall, shaft, floor, ceiling or other element of the building, as shown in Figs. 24 and 25. Due to the larger diameter of the holes 5 for fasteners along the inner perimeter of the head of the fasteners there will be located inside the metal profile.
- a substrate 9 is installed by means of fastening means (for example, screws) (shown conventionally with dashed lines in Figs. 17, 18, 20 and 23). Drywall, asbestos-cement or plastic board, plywood or other suitable sheet material on which the cladding 11 is fixed (for example, ceramic tiles, plaster, panel). In some cases, the facing material can be attached directly to the profiles of the frame 1.
- the substrate 9 can be attached to the frame 1 before installing the frame in the opening.
- the substrate 9 and/or facing material installed on the frame 1 forms a technological hatch door, a fragment of which is shown in Fig. 24.
- the facing material 11 attached to the frame must match the shape of the opening being closed, for an aesthetic or complete final appearance.
- the width of the facing material 11 exceeds the width of the hatch frame and corresponds to the width of the opening, which will completely make the inspection opening invisible in the closed position of the hatch door.
- the door opening angle also depends on the location of the hinge 3
- Fig. 24 shows fragments of the two extreme positions of the hatch door.
- bevels 4 allows you to open the hatch door with the facing material installed on it at an angle of more than 90 degrees.
- a bevel of at least 25 degrees must be made on its inner side.
- a handle (not shown) can be attached to the door.
- the user can gain access to the hidden cavities by turning the door, including frame 1, open position.
- the absence of movable or retractable levers in the design eliminates sagging of the hatch door, which ensures a minimum gap between the facing material 11 and 12, and also allows this technological hatch to be made of any size without compromising its performance qualities and characteristics.
- the absence of sagging, regardless of size and weight, ensures that in the closed position of the hatch door there is a minimum gap between the facing materials 11 and 12 without the use of movable levers in the frame structure when it is possible to open the hatch door at an angle of more than 90 degrees.
- bevels 4 provides in this design the ability to open the hatch door at an angle of more than 90 degrees, without using a system of movable levers, which can lead to sagging of the hatch door.
- all frame options have common technical features regarding the fact that in the closed position the projection of the frame 1 repeats the projection of the supporting structure 2 (as shown in Fig. 5, 13 and 21).
- Another common technical feature is the presence of bevels 4 at the end sections of the supporting structure in the area where the hinge joint 3 is located.
