Definitions
- the present invention relates to a work vehicle.
- a brake device is installed that generates a braking force when a fixed member fixed to the side comes into pressure contact with the vehicle.
- a brake cooling circuit is provided to suppress the temperature rise of the brake equipment, and by circulating cooling pressure oil between the rotating member and the fixed member, the rotating member is cooled and the temperature rise of the rotating member is suppressed. Suppression is done.
- a prior art related to a brake cooling circuit for example, the one described in Patent Document 1 is known.
- Patent Document 1 discloses that when the brake device is in a braking state where a rotating member and a fixed member are in pressure contact, the supply amount of lubricating oil is set to a predetermined first supply amount, and the brake device changes from a braking state to a non-braking state.
- a brake that reduces the supply amount of lubricating oil from a first supply amount to a second supply amount that is smaller than the first supply amount when a lubricant supply time has elapsed from the time when the brake device was switched from a braking state to a non-braking state.
- the circuit pressure is checked using a pressure sensor, and the circuit pressure is determined according to the circuit pressure.
- One possibility is to determine the health of the circuit.
- the circuit pressure may be insufficient for detection by the pressure sensor, and the health of the circuit may not be determined.
- Patent Document 2 discloses a pump output switching device that selectively switches a hydraulic pump between high output and low output, and a pump output switching device that is connected to an oil path between the hydraulic pump and hydraulic equipment, and that is connected to an oil path between the hydraulic pump and the hydraulic equipment, and is discharged from the hydraulic pump when the output of the hydraulic pump is high.
- An accumulator that stores a portion of the hydraulic oil and supplies pressure oil to hydraulic equipment when the output of the hydraulic pump is low;
- a check valve for the pump that blocks the flow of oil, a pressure sensor that detects the pressure of the pressure oil supplied to the hydraulic equipment from either the hydraulic pump or the accumulator, and a pressure sensor that detects the pressure of the pressure oil supplied to the hydraulic equipment from either the hydraulic pump or the accumulator.
- a low output command is output to the pump output switching device to switch the hydraulic pump to low output
- the pressure detected by the pressure sensor is
- the controller includes a controller that outputs a high output command to the pump output switching device in order to switch the hydraulic pump to a high output when the lower limit value is lower than the set lower limit.
- a hydraulic control system that calculates a command duration in a state where no pump is present, determines that a pump output switching device is abnormal when the command duration is equal to or greater than a predetermined value, and outputs the determination result. .
- the switching valve of the valve that sends pressure oil to the accumulator is determined to be defective when the charging time of the accumulator is equal to or greater than a specified value, that is, when the accumulator pressure does not change. For this reason, when controlling the flow rate to reduce the flow rate according to the oil temperature in order to improve fuel efficiency, if the driving pattern is such that the oil temperature does not rise, the flow rate remains small. That is, since the conditions for determining defectiveness are not met, the soundness cannot be determined.

- the work vehicle includes a pressure sensor that detects oil pressure, and a controller that controls the rotation speed of the pump based on detection results from the temperature sensor and the pressure sensor, wherein the controller is the temperature sensor.
- Control is performed so that the rotation speed of the pump increases as the detected temperature of the cooling oil increases, and the operating mode of the work vehicle changes from a normal mode in which work involving operation of the brake device is performed to a normal mode in which work involving operation of the brake device is performed.
- the brake test mode is switched to the brake test mode for determining the brake test mode, in at least a part of the temperature range, the rotation speed of the pump relative to the temperature of the cooling oil detected by the temperature sensor is lower than in the normal mode.
- the pressure is controlled to be high, and based on the detection result from the pressure sensor in the brake test mode, it is determined whether or not an abnormality has occurred in the brake device, and it is determined that an abnormality has occurred. In this case, abnormality information will be output.
- fuel efficiency can be achieved by reducing the flow rate during normal times, and the health of the brake cooling circuit can be determined by increasing the flow rate when inspecting the circuit.

- a central processing unit (CPU) 192 performs processing and outputs a signal from an output interface 195.
- the internal system of the control device 19 is executed as a combination of several programs, and signals from the brake test mode switch 15, temperature sensor 17, pressure sensor 18, etc. are input via the input interface 191.
- the signal is output to the power control device 14, monitor 16, etc. via an output interface 195.
- FIG. 6 is a diagram showing an example of a control table used in the control device, in which the horizontal axis shows the temperature of the cooling oil, and the vertical axis shows the discharge flow rate from the cooling pump.
- the vertical axis shows the flow rate of cooling oil discharged from the cooling pump 9, but since the discharge flow rate of the cooling pump 9 increases or decreases depending on the rotation speed, it is necessary to control the rotation speed. and flow rate control are synonymous.
- the control table when the brake test mode is ON includes a temperature range in which the temperature of the cooling oil detected by the temperature sensor 17 is lower than a predetermined first temperature, and In a temperature range higher than the second temperature set higher than the second temperature, the discharge flow rate (rotation speed) of the cooling pump 9 is controlled to be constant regardless of the temperature, and the In the temperature range, control is set so that the discharge flow rate of the cooling pump 9 increases (the rotational speed increases) as the temperature of the cooling oil increases.
- control table when the brake test mode is OFF is set to a temperature range in which the temperature of the cooling oil detected by the temperature sensor 17 is lower than a predetermined third temperature, and a temperature range higher than the third temperature.
- the discharge flow rate (rotation speed) of the cooling pump 9 is controlled to be constant regardless of the temperature, and in a temperature range higher than the third temperature and lower than the fourth temperature, the cooling pump 9 is controlled to be constant regardless of the temperature. It is set so that the discharge flow rate of the cooling pump 9 increases (the rotational speed increases) as the temperature of the cooling pump 9 increases.
- the first temperature is set lower than the third temperature
- the second temperature is set lower than the fourth temperature. That is, in the normal mode, when the wet brakes 3a and 3b are used frequently, a sufficient cooling effect can be obtained, and when the wet brakes 3a and 3b are used infrequently, the flow rate of cooling oil is reduced to improve fuel efficiency. can be achieved. Further, in the brake test mode, the discharge flow rate (rotation speed) of the cooling pump 9 is set to be higher than in the normal mode in at least a part of the temperature range (in the example of FIG. 6, the range from the first temperature to the fourth temperature).
- the wet brakes 3a and 3b are used infrequently, that is, when the discharge flow rate of the cooling pump 9 is small and the pressure is difficult to reach the specified value for determining the health of the circuit. Also, the discharge pressure of the cooling pump 9 can be sufficiently increased, and the health of the brake cooling system can be determined.
- a floating seal is built into the wet brakes 3a and 3b to prevent leakage of cooling oil. Since this floating seal has a low pressure resistance, the pressure of the cooling oil applied to the wet brakes 3a and 3b needs to be suppressed to less than the pressure resistance of the floating seal. On the other hand, cooling oil has a high viscosity when the temperature is low, and the pressure tends to increase when the oil is poured. For this reason, for example, the flow rate of the cooling oil is determined so that even the lowest expected oil temperature is less than the withstand pressure of the floating seal.
- the relief pressure of the relief valve 9a is set so as to satisfy the relationship (pressure resistance of the cooling oil cooler 12)>(relief pressure of the relief valve 9a)>(floating seal pressure resistance).
- FIG. 7 is a flowchart showing the flow of processing in the operation of the brake cooling system.
- the control device 19 repeatedly executes the processing of steps S100 to S150.
- the control device 19 determines whether the brake test mode is ON, that is, whether the brake test mode has been switched, based on the switching signal from the brake test mode switch 15. (Step S100) If the determination result is NO, the brake cooling system is controlled while maintaining the normal mode control table.
- step S100 determines whether the brake test mode has been switched. If the determination result in step S100 is YES, that is, if the brake test mode has been switched, the control table is switched to the brake test mode (step S110) until the discharge flow rate of the cooling pump 9 becomes stable. Wait for a predetermined time (for example, 3 seconds) (step S120).
- a predetermined value for example, 0.1 [MPa]
- a threshold lower limit threshold
- step S130 determines whether the brake test mode is ON or not, that is, whether the brake test mode has been switched to the brake test mode. It is determined whether there is one (step S140).
- step S140 determines whether switching to the brake test mode is continued. If the determination result in step S140 is YES, that is, if switching to the brake test mode is continued, the processes of steps S110 to S131 are repeated.
- step S140 determines whether the normal mode has been selected. If the determination result in step S140 is NO, that is, if the normal mode has been selected, the control table is switched to the normal mode control table (step S150), and the brake cooling system is controlled.
- conventional technology for determining whether oil in the circuit is circulating normally includes determining the charging time of the accumulator to a specified value for the switching valve of the valve that sends pressure oil to the accumulator. In some cases, if the accumulator pressure does not change in the above cases, it is determined to be defective.
- the rotation speed of the cooling pump 9 is controlled to increase (the discharge flow rate increases) as the temperature of the cooling oil detected by the temperature sensor 17 increases, and the operation mode of the dump truck 100 is
- the cooling detected by the temperature sensor 17 is detected in at least a part of the temperature range.
- the rotation speed of the cooling pump 9 relative to the oil temperature is controlled to be higher in the brake test mode than in the normal mode, and based on the detection result from the pressure sensor 18 in the brake test mode, it is determined whether an abnormality has occurred in the brake device. If it is determined that an abnormality has occurred, the system is configured to output abnormality information, which improves fuel efficiency during normal operation and confirms the health of the brake cooling circuit when inspecting the circuit. gender can be determined.
- This embodiment shows a case where a control table with nonlinear characteristics is used instead of the control table with linear characteristics illustrated in the first embodiment.
- FIG. 8 and the description the same reference numerals are given to the same parts as in the first embodiment, and the description will be omitted.
- FIG. 8 is a diagram showing an example of a control table used in the control device according to the present embodiment, in which the horizontal axis shows the temperature of the cooling oil, and the vertical axis shows the discharge flow rate from the cooling pump. Note that in FIG. 8, the vertical axis shows the flow rate of cooling oil discharged from the cooling pump 9, but since the discharge flow rate of the cooling pump 9 increases or decreases depending on the rotation speed, it is necessary to control the rotation speed. and flow rate control are synonymous.
- Equation 2 the relationship between the flow rate of the cooling oil and the pressure loss is determined by the following (Equation 2).
- ⁇ P ⁇ /2* ⁇ *L/D*V ⁇ 2*10 ⁇ 6...(Formula 2)
- the pressure loss is ⁇ P [MPa]
- the density is ⁇ [kg/m ⁇ 3]
- the pipe friction coefficient is ⁇
- the pipe length is L [m]
- the pipe diameter is D [m]
- the inside of the pipe is The flow velocity is V [m/s].
- the control table when the brake test mode is ON includes a temperature range in which the temperature of the cooling oil detected by the temperature sensor 17 is lower than a predetermined first temperature, and In a temperature range higher than the second temperature set higher than the second temperature, the discharge flow rate (rotation speed) of the cooling pump 9 is controlled to be constant regardless of the temperature, and the In the temperature range, control is set so that the discharge flow rate of the cooling pump 9 increases (the rotational speed increases) in a nonlinear manner as the temperature of the cooling oil increases. At this time, by setting the flow rate of the cooling oil to be increased within a range where the pressure of the cooling oil does not reach the pressure resistance of the floating seal, the pressure of the cooling oil can be reliably detected by the pressure sensor 18 in the brake test mode. is possible.
- the cooling pump 9 is set to be controlled so that the discharge flow rate of the cooling pump 9 increases (the rotational speed increases) in a nonlinear manner as the temperature of the cooling pump 9 increases. At this time, by setting the flow rate of the cooling oil so that the pressure of the cooling oil does not reach the pressure at which the relief valve 9a operates, it is possible to further suppress the occurrence of loss.
- the cooling pump 9 can be sufficiently increased, and the health of the brake cooling system can be determined.
- the roles of the first temperature and second temperature in the brake test mode are different from the roles of the third temperature and fourth temperature in the normal mode, so the difference between the first temperature and the second temperature in the brake test mode is different.
- the shape of the curve of the flow rate change may be set to be different from the shape of the curve of the flow rate between the third temperature and the fourth temperature in the normal mode.
- the cooling pump 9 is driven by the electric motor 10, but the cooling pump 9 can be driven using other power (for example, a hydraulic motor and a hydraulic pump) whose rotation speed can be arbitrarily changed. 9 may be configured to be driven.
- the electric motor 10 is driven by the electric power generated by driving the generator 7 with the engine 6, but it may be configured to use electric power stored in a battery or the like. .
- the present invention is not limited to having all the configurations described in the above embodiments, but also includes configurations in which some of the configurations are deleted.
- each of the above-mentioned configurations, functions, etc. may be realized in part or in whole by, for example, designing an integrated circuit.
- each of the above configurations, functions, etc. may be realized by software by a processor interpreting and executing a program for realizing each function.
