Abstract
Description
本開示の実施形態に係る電気化学素子は、底部及び側壁部を有する凹状容器と凹状容器の開口を覆う蓋材とを有するケースと、ケース内に封止され、底部側に配置された第1電極層と蓋材側に配置された第2電極層と第1電極層及び第2電極層の間に配置された隔離層とを有する発電要素と、発電要素と蓋材との間に配置された導電板とを備えてよい。第1電極層は、ケースの内部から外部に通じる第1導通経路と電気的に接続されてよい。第2電極層は、導電板を介してケースの内部から外部に通じる第2導通経路と電気的に接続されてよい。凹状容器は、側壁部の上端面に開口を有する挿入孔を有してよい。導電板は、導電板の縁端から延び、挿入孔に挿入され、導電板を凹状容器に取り付けるための弾性係止部を有してよい。挿入孔に挿入された弾性係止部は、挿入孔の側面を押圧してよい。
構成1の電気化学素子において、弾性係止部は、挿入孔に対する挿入方向とは反対方向に折り返された先端部を有してよい。これにより、弾性係止部を容易に挿入孔に挿入できるとともに、先端部が挿入孔の側面を押圧して導電板を凹状容器に固定するため、良好な電気的接続を維持することができる。
構成1の電気化学素子において、弾性係止部は、波板形状を有してよい。これにより、弾性係止部を挿入孔に挿入する際、波板形状の各々の曲面が挿入孔の側面に押されて挿入方向に延びるように撓み、その弾性力により挿入孔の側面を押圧する。その結果、導電板を凹状容器11に容易に固定することができ、良好な電気的接続を維持することができる。
構成1の電気化学素子において、導電板と前記蓋材のとの間には隙間が形成されてよい。これにより、蓋材が発電要素と当接しないため、凹状容器の側壁部の上端面に蓋材を接合する際に発電要素の厚みのばらつき等の影響を受けなくなり、ケースの封止性を向上させることができる。
他の実施形態に係る電気化学素子は、底部及び側壁部を有する凹状容器と凹状容器の開口を覆う蓋材とを有するケースと、ケース内に封止され、底部側に配置された第1電極端子及び蓋材側に配置された第2電極端子を含む外装材と、外装材の内部に封入され、第1電極層と第2電極層と第1電極層及び第2電極層の間に配置された隔離層とを含む発電要素とを有する扁平形素子と、扁平形素子と蓋材との間に配置された導電板とを備えてよい。第1電極端子は、ケースの内部から外部に通じる第1導通経路と電気的に接続されてよい。第2電極端子は、導電板を介してケースの内部から外部に通じる第2導通経路と電気的に接続されてよい。凹状容器は、側壁部の上端面に開口を有する挿入孔を有してよい。導電板は、導電板の縁端から延び、挿入孔に挿入され、導電板を凹状容器に取り付けるための弾性係止部を有してよい。挿入孔に挿入された弾性係止部は、挿入孔の側面を押圧してよい。これにより、弾性係止部の弾性力によって導電板が凹状容器に固定されるため、良好な電気的接続を維持することができる。また、弾性係止部を凹状容器の上端面の上方から挿入孔に向けて挿入すればよいため、容易に凹状容器に導電板を取り付けることができる。
次に、第2実施形態の電気化学素子1について、図6を用いて具体的に説明する。本実施形態の電気化学素子1において、第1実施形態の電気化学素子1と同じ構成については基本的には説明を省略し、第1実施形態の電気化学素子1とは異なる構成についてのみ説明する。
次に、第3実施形態の電気化学素子1について、図7を用いて具体的に説明する。本実施形態の電気化学素子1において、第1実施形態の電気化学素子1と同じ構成については基本的には説明を省略し、第1実施形態の電気化学素子1とは異なる構成についてのみ説明する。
次に、第4実施形態の電気化学素子1について、図8を用いて具体的に説明する。本実施形態の電気化学素子1において、第1実施形態及び第2実施形態の電気化学素子1と同じ構成については基本的には説明を省略し、第1実施形態及び第2実施形態の電気化学素子1とは異なる構成についてのみ説明する。
図9に示すように、変形例1の凹状容器11は、2つの挿入孔115を有している。この場合は、導電板30に形成される弾性係止部31の数は2つである。このように、各実施形態の電気化学素子1において、挿入孔115の数は限定されるものではなく、複数の弾性係止部31を各々挿入できるように複数の挿入孔115が形成されていればよい。
図10に示すように、弾性係止部31の先端部311は、凹状容器11の内周面に対して径方向ではなく周方向に折り返されてもよい。図11に示すように、凹状容器11の側壁部112の上端に形成された挿入孔115は、弾性係止部31を挿入可能で、かつ、弾性係止部31が挿入された後、先端部311が弾性係止部31の弾性力によって挿入孔115の側面を押圧できるように形成されている。このように、各実施形態の電気化学素子1において、いずれの方向に先端部311を折り返すかは特に限定されるものではなく、上述の通り、凹状容器11の径方向外方に折り返されていてもよい。
変形例3は、図11に示す変形例2の凹状容器11の変形例である。図12に示すように、凹状容器11の上端面に開口して形成される挿入孔115は、凹状容器11の内部空間と連通していてもよい。すなわち、挿入孔115は、凹状容器11の上端面及び内周面にかけて切欠かれた切欠きである。挿入孔115は、凹状容器11の上端面及び内周面に開口を有する。挿入孔115は、凹状容器11の上方から弾性係止部31の先端部311を挿入できるように、少なくとも凹状容器11の上端面に開口を有すればよい。変形例3の挿入孔115には、図10に示す弾性係止部31と相似形の弾性係止部31の先端部311が挿入される。このように凹状容器11の内部空間と連通する挿入孔115においても、弾性係止部31の先端部311を挿入することにより、導電板30を凹状容器11に取り付けて固定することができる。
図13に示すように、導電板30の弾性係止部31は、各実施形態の電気化学素子1において、波板形状を有していてもよい。波板形状の弾性係止部31は、複数の曲面を有している。弾性係止部31を挿入孔115に挿入すると、弾性係止部31の各々の曲面は、挿入孔115の側面に押されることによって挿入方向に延びるように撓む。これにより、弾性係止部31の曲面の各々は、その弾性力により挿入孔115の側面を径方向内方又は径方向外方に向かって押圧する。その結果、導電板30を凹状容器11に容易に固定することができる。
特に図示しないが、挿入孔115は、側壁部112の上端面に形成された切れ込みであってもよい。すなわち、挿入孔115は、切れ込みに挿入された弾性係止部31に押し広げられることによって、少なくとも側壁部112の上端面に開口を有するように形成されてもよい。このように、挿入孔115は、凹状容器11の側壁部112の上方から導電板30の弾性係止部31を挿入できれば、切れ込みであってもよく、或いは、上述のように凹状容器11の内部空間と連通していてもよい。
図14に示すように、凹状容器11の側壁部112の挿入孔115は、各実施形態の電気化学素子1において、導電板30の弾性係止部31の折り返された先端部311を係止できるよう、一部が支持部116で塞がれていてもよい。各々の支持部116の下面において、挿入孔115に挿入された弾性係止部31の先端部311を係止することができ、導電板30に強い力が加えられた場合でも、弾性係止部31が挿入孔115から抜け出るのを防ぐことができる。なお、図14に示す凹状容器11は、図12に示す凹状容器11の変形例である。
各実施形態において、電極層21を正極層として機能させ、電極層22を負極層として機能させたが、電極層21を負極層として機能させ、電極層22を正極層として機能させてもよい。この場合、外部端子13が負極の端子として機能し、外部端子14が正極の端子として機能する。
厚さ0.2mmのSUS304-CSPで構成された導電板を用い、図6に示される電気化学素子(全固体電池)を作製した。この実施例の電気化学素子について、以下のようにして振動試験を行い、耐振動性を評価した。
耐振試験とは別に、JIS-Z2331に記載された「ヘリウム漏れ試験方法」(ボンビング法)により、実施例の電気化学素子のケースの封止性を確認した。タンク内に電気化学素子を入れてヘリウムガスで2時間加圧した後、真空チャンバー内で電気化学素子の周囲を1分間真空排気してヘリウムガスのリーク量を求めたところ、10分後にはリーク量が1×10-10Pa・m3/s以下となり、優れた封止性を有することが確認された。
Claims (5)
- 底部及び側壁部を有する凹状容器と前記凹状容器の開口を覆う蓋材とを有するケースと、
前記ケース内に封止され、前記底部側に配置された第1電極層と前記蓋材側に配置された第2電極層と前記第1電極層及び前記第2電極層の間に配置された隔離層とを有する発電要素と、
前記発電要素と前記蓋材との間に配置された導電板とを備え、
前記第1電極層は、前記ケースの内部から外部に通じる第1導通経路と電気的に接続されており、
前記第2電極層は、前記導電板を介して前記ケースの内部から外部に通じる第2導通経路と電気的に接続されており、
前記凹状容器は、前記側壁部の上端面に開口を有する挿入孔を有し、
前記導電板は、前記導電板の縁端から延び、前記挿入孔に挿入され、前記導電板を前記凹状容器に取り付けるための弾性係止部を有し、
前記挿入孔に挿入された前記弾性係止部は、前記挿入孔の側面を押圧する、電気化学素子。 - 請求項1に記載の電気化学素子であって、
前記弾性係止部は、前記挿入孔に対する挿入方向とは反対方向に折り返された先端部を有する、電気化学素子。 - 請求項1に記載の電気化学素子であって、
前記弾性係止部は、波板形状を有する、電気化学素子。 - 請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の電気化学素子であって、
前記導電板と前記蓋材のとの間には隙間が形成されている、電気化学素子。 - 底部及び側壁部を有する凹状容器と前記凹状容器の開口を覆う蓋材とを有するケースと、
前記ケース内に封止され、前記底部側に配置された第1電極端子及び前記蓋材側に配置された第2電極端子を含む外装材と、前記外装材の内部に封入され、第1電極層と第2電極層と前記第1電極層及び前記第2電極層の間に配置された隔離層とを含む発電要素とを有する扁平形素子と、
前記扁平形素子と前記蓋材との間に配置された導電板とを備え、
前記第1電極端子は、前記ケースの内部から外部に通じる第1導通経路と電気的に接続されており、
前記第2電極端子は、前記導電板を介して前記ケースの内部から外部に通じる第2導通経路と電気的に接続されており、
前記凹状容器は、前記側壁部の上端面に開口を有する挿入孔を有し、
前記導電板は、前記導電板の縁端から延び、前記挿入孔に挿入され、前記導電板を前記凹状容器に取り付けるための弾性係止部を有し、
前記挿入孔に挿入された前記弾性係止部は、前記挿入孔の側面を押圧する、電気化学素子。
