本開示において、2以上の好ましい態様の組み合わせは、より好ましい態様である。
本開示において、各成分の量は、各成分に該当する物質が複数種存在する場合には、特に断らない限り、複数種の物質の合計量を意味する。
本開示において「主成分」とは、当該成分以外の成分の量が相対的に少ないことを意味する。「主成分」の量は全体の50モル%以上が好ましく、より好ましくは60モル%以上、さらに好ましくは70モル%以上、最も好ましくは80モル%以上である。
本開示において、特に断りのない限り、化合物の沸点は常圧での値であり、常圧は1.013×105Paである。
本開示のVdFの分離方法は、メタン及びVdFを含む第1気体と、クロロメタン、アセトン、及び1-クロロ-2,3,3-トリフルオロ-1-プロペンからなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の溶剤を含む第1液体と、を接触させて、メタン及びVdFの合計モル量に対するVdFのモル量が、第1気体よりも低い第2気体と、VdF及び溶剤を含む第2液体と、を得る分離工程を含む。
本開示のVdFの分離方法は、メタン及びVdFを含む第1気体と、溶剤を含む第1液体と、を接触させて、第1気体よりもVdFの含有量が低い第2気体と、VdF及び溶剤を含む第2液体と、を得る。
メタン及びVdFを含む第1気体は、メタン及びVdF以外の他の成分を含んでいてもよいが、他の成分としては、例えば、VdF以外のフルオロオレフィン、エチレン、アセチレン、クロロメタン、一酸化炭素、及び二酸化炭素が挙げられる。
第1液体は、クロロメタン、アセトン、及び1-クロロ-2,3,3-トリフルオロ-1-プロペンからなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の溶剤(以下、「特定溶剤」ともいう)を含む。
第2気体は、メタン及びVdFの合計モル量に対するVdFのモル量が、第1気体よりも低い。第2液体は、VdF及び特定溶剤を含む。すなわち、本開示のVdFの分離方法では、特定溶剤を用いることにより、第1気体に含まれるVdFの一部を、第2液体へ移行させることができ、VdFを効率良く分離できる。
本開示のVdFの分離方法は、VdF、メタン、及び特定溶剤を含む第1組成物を蒸留し、メタン及びVdFを含む留出物Aと、特定溶剤を主成分とする缶出物とを、それぞれ得る蒸留工程と、をさらに含む。上記分離工程における第1気体は、留出物Aに由来し、上記分離工程における第1液体は、缶出物に由来する。
留出物Aは、メタン及びVdFの合計モル量に対するVdFのモル量が、第1組成物より低いことが好ましい。
本開示のVdFの製造方法は、メタン及びVdFを含む第2組成物を蒸留し、メタン及びVdFの合計モル量に対するVdFのモル量が、第2組成物よりも低い留出物Cと、メタン及びVdFの合計モル量に対するVdFのモル量が、第2組成物よりも高い留出物Dとを得る蒸留工程と、留出物Cと、特定溶剤を含む第1液体と、を接触させて、VdF及び特定溶剤を含む第2液体と、を得る分離工程と、分離工程で得られた第2液体を蒸留工程に供給する工程と、留出物Dを精製してVdFを得る精製工程と、を含む。
そして、第2液体Eを、第2組成物Gと共に蒸留塔M1に供給する。
このように、蒸留塔M1から抜き出した留出物Cを吸収塔M2に供給し、再び蒸留塔M1に戻すことで、VdFの損失率を低下させることができる。
なお、蒸留塔M1の塔底側から、特定溶剤を主成分とする缶出物Fを抜き出し、缶出物Fを蒸留等で精製してもよい。特定溶剤を主成分とする缶出物Fを精製して、純度の高い特定溶剤を吸収塔M2に供給してもよい。
以下の各成分を混合して、第1気体を準備した。
・VdF…0.134モル
・アセチレン…0.111モル
・エチレン…1.000モル
・メタン…0.0837モル
・クロロメタン…0.0873モル
表1中、「AS-300」の詳細は以下のとおりである。
AS-300:製品名「AS-300」、AGC社製。1-クロロ-2,3,3-トリフルオロ-1-プロペン(E)と1-クロロ-2,3,3-トリフルオロ-1-プロペン(Z)の混合物である。
・メタノール:0.625モル
・アセトン:0.345モル

比揮発度の測定において、得られた液の組成分析はガスクロマトグラフ(GC)を用いた。カラムはDB-1(長さ60m×内径250μm×厚み1μm、アジレント・テクノロジー社製)を用いた。
VdFのメタンに対する比揮発度Rvは、下記式で表される。
Rv=(気相部におけるVdFのモル分率/液相部におけるVdFのモル分率)/(気相部におけるメタンのモル分率/液相部におけるメタンのモル分率)
VdFのメタンに対する比揮発度Rvは、以下のようにして測定される。
圧力計付き耐圧オートクレーブに、調製した第1の混合物と、必要に応じて抽出溶剤と、を注入した。圧力が1.0MPaG程度になるように温度を調整し、1日保持して、オートクレーブ内の組成を安定化させた。

R125:ペンタフルオロエタン
R1123:トリフルオロエチレン
1234yf:2,3,3,3-テトラフルオロプロペン
VCM:塩化ビニル
缶出物における「メタン/VdF」は、缶出物に含まれるVdFのモル量に対するメタンのモル量の割合(%)を意味する。
また、表3中、「0.00」は、0.005未満であって、非常に小さい値であることを意味する。
VdF損失率(%)={1-(留出ガスに含まれるVdFのモル量/供給ガスに含まれるVdFのモル量)}×100
特に、メタン及びVdFの合計モル量に対する溶剤のモル量の比率が10以上である例14及び例15では、VdF損失率を5%以下に低下できることが分かった。
Claims (9)
- メタン及びフッ化ビニリデンを含む第1気体と、クロロメタン、アセトン、及び1-クロロ-2,3,3-トリフルオロ-1-プロペンからなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の溶剤を含む第1液体と、を接触させて、メタン及びフッ化ビニリデンの合計モル量に対するフッ化ビニリデンのモル量が、前記第1気体よりも低い第2気体と、フッ化ビニリデン及び前記溶剤を含む第2液体と、を得る分離工程を含む、フッ化ビニリデンの分離方法。
- 前記溶剤は、クロロメタン及びアセトンからなる群より選択される少なくとも1種である、請求項1に記載のフッ化ビニリデンの分離方法。
- 前記第1気体と前記第1液体とを接触させる際、前記メタン及び前記フッ化ビニリデンの合計モル量に対する前記溶剤のモル量の比率は、10以上である、請求項1又は請求項2に記載のフッ化ビニリデンの分離方法。
- 前記メタンの含有量は、前記第1気体の全量に対して5モル%以上である、請求項1又は請求項2に記載のフッ化ビニリデンの分離方法。
- 前記第1気体は、一酸化炭素及び二酸化炭素からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種をさらに含む、請求項1又は請求項2に記載のフッ化ビニリデンの分離方法。
- フッ化ビニリデン、メタン、及び前記溶剤を含む第1組成物を蒸留し、メタン及びフッ化ビニリデンを含む留出物Aと、溶剤を主成分とする缶出物とを、それぞれ得る蒸留工程と、をさらに含み、
前記第1気体は、前記留出物Aに由来し、
前記第1液体は、前記缶出物に由来する、請求項1又は請求項2に記載のフッ化ビニリデンの分離方法。 - 前記蒸留工程では、メタン及びフッ化ビニリデンの合計モル量に対するフッ化ビニリデンのモル量が、前記第1組成物よりも高い留出物Bをさらに得る、請求項6に記載のフッ化ビニリデンの分離方法。
- 前記分離工程で得られた前記第2液体を前記蒸留工程に供給する、請求項6に記載のフッ化ビニリデンの分離方法。
- メタン及びフッ化ビニリデンを含む第2組成物を蒸留し、メタン及びフッ化ビニリデンの合計モル量に対するフッ化ビニリデンのモル量が、前記第2組成物よりも低い留出物Cと、メタン及びフッ化ビニリデンの合計モル量に対するフッ化ビニリデンのモル量が、前記第2組成物よりも高い留出物Dとを得る蒸留工程と、
前記留出物Cと、クロロメタン、アセトン、及び1-クロロ-2,3,3-トリフルオロ-1-プロペンからなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の溶剤を含む第1液体と、を接触させて、フッ化ビニリデン及び前記溶剤を含む第2液体を得る分離工程と、
前記分離工程で得られた第2液体を前記蒸留工程に供給する工程と、
前記留出物Dを精製してフッ化ビニリデンを得る精製工程と、を含むフッ化ビニリデンの製造方法。
