Abstract

L'invention concerne un système d'inspection de colonnes montantes et d'autres objets de test. Le système peut comprendre au moins deux capteurs et des arcs de montage pour maintenir les capteurs sous une forme arquée. Pour assurer une couverture circonférentielle complète, certains capteurs peuvent être décalés axialement par rapport à d'autres. Dans certains modes de réalisation, au moins deux capteurs présentent la même position axiale, mais sont décalés de manière circonférentielle de telle sorte que différentes parties de la colonne montante peuvent être inspectées par chaque capteur. Les arcs et les capteurs peuvent être maintenus par un dispositif de balayage à roues permettant de déplacer le dispositif de balayage le long de la colonne montante. Une partie ou l'intégralité des roues peut comprendre une suspension pour assurer une flexibilité dans la structure si la surface de l'objet présente des variations telles que des changements localisés de rayon de surface. Une version flexible ne nécessite pas d'arcs rigides, permettant le changement de la courbure des rayons de capteur pendant le balayage. Un instrument peut être prévu pour effectuer des mesures de capteur.
