Abstract

The invention relates to the production of a plate assembly (2) for a stack (1) of electrochemical cells (3), wherein plates (22, 22', 4) arranged parallel to one another are additively manufactured in planes oriented perpendicularly to the plates (22, 22', 4). The invention also relates to an electrochemical cell, in particular an electrochemical system in the form of an electrolyzer, with a cell stack comprising two end plates between which at least one such plate assembly (2) and at least two polymer electrolyte membranes are arranged.
