Abstract

L'invention concerne des dispositifs chirurgicaux destinés à guider l'insertion d'une aiguille le long d'une trajectoire tridimensionnelle souhaitée d'un site d'entrée chirurgical à un site de destination chirurgical. Le dispositif comprend un élément de fixation sécurisée d'une aiguille au logement du dispositif. L'orientation du dispositif peut être étalonnée par rapport au patient, et une unité de mesure inertielle (IMU) à l'intérieur du dispositif permet de surveiller en continu l'orientation actuelle après l'étalonnage. L'orientation actuelle est comparée à l'orientation souhaitée, et cette relation est transmise à un dispositif d'affichage pour une visualisation par le chirurgien. Ainsi, le chirurgien sait si le dispositif et l'aiguille sont orientés le long de la trajectoire souhaitée, ce qui aide le chirurgien à ajuster l'orientation et à être sûr d'obtenir l'orientation souhaitée. L'invention concerne également des procédés d'utilisation de tels dispositifs pour effectuer l'insertion guidée de l'aiguille.
