Abstract
La présente invention concerne un procédé qui comprend la soumission de minerai d'argile à un prétraitement ; la lixiviation de l'argile prétraitée pour produire un lixiviat enrichi en éléments de terres rares et un résidu solide ; la calcination du résidu solide pour produire un matériau d'argile pouzzolanique approprié pour une utilisation en tant que liant de béton ; la soumission du lixiviat à une précipitation pour former des oxydes d'éléments de terres rares précipités (REEO) et une solution appauvrie en terres rares ; et la calcination des REEO précipités pour former un mélange de produits de REEO. Le produit de REEO et le matériau de liant de béton peuvent ainsi être produits à partir de minerai d'argile.
