Abstract

La présente invention concerne, entre autres, l'utilisation d'un marqueur ou d'un ensemble de marqueurs dans un procédé in vitro pour déterminer le risque pour un individu de souffrir d'ascite. Le marqueur est choisi parmi un premier groupe constitué de lipoprotéine haute densité, d'apolipoprotéine A1, de valine et de pyruvate; l'ensemble de marqueurs comprend au moins deux substances choisies dans un second groupe constitué de lipoprotéine haute densité, d'apolipoprotéine A1, de valine, de pyruvate, de lactate, de myo-inositol et d'anhydrosorbitol.
