L'invention concerne un dispositif (1) pour tenir des objets souillés (OBJ), tels que des couches, comprenant des trappes de serrage inférieure et supérieure (L,U) ayant une position ouverte et une position fermée, et un cadre de support (10) pour les porter, la trappe de serrage supérieure (U) étant plus haute que la trappe de serrage inférieure (L), la trappe de serrage supérieure (U) comprenant des moyens de montage (50) pour tenir un bord d'un sac-poubelle (B), les trappes de serrage inférieure et supérieure (L, U) définissant un volume de tenue temporaire (T), le dispositif ayant un état d'entrée et un état de sortie. Selon l'invention, dans l'état d'entrée, la trappe de serrage inférieure (L) est dans la position fermée, et la trappe de serrage supérieure (U) est dans la position ouverte, et dans l'état de sortie du dispositif, la trappe de serrage inférieure (L) est dans la position ouverte, et la trappe de serrage supérieure (U) est dans la position fermée. L'invention concerne également un procédé associé pour maintenir un joint étanche à l'air d'un sac-poubelle (B) pendant l'insertion d'un objet souillé (OBJ) à l'intérieur de celui-ci.
