Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a package intended for storing and/or carrying items and provided with security seals.
  • the present invention relates to a package intended for storing and/or carrying small-sized valuable items, such as, for example, diamonds, coins or small gold ingots.
  • the valuable items are introduced in special packages, which are subsequently sealed so as to prevent exit of said items.
  • These packages generally consist of a first storage element, inside which the valuable item(s) is/are housed, and a second storage element, rigidly joined to the first storage element upon closing the package.
  • first storage element comprises a first connection surface and the second storage element comprises a second connection surface, said connection surfaces being adhered to each other during sealing of the package.
  • Such security seal is often made as an ink layer, deposited between the first connection surface and the second connection surface in such a way that, upon opening the package, the separation of these connection surfaces causes tearing of said ink layer, such that an immediate and indelible alert of opening is generated on the package, thereby making the attempted opening blatant and immediately alerting the legitimate owner.

  • the first storage element, and especially the first connection surface has a particularly small portion that can be used for applying the security seal.
