Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de régénération pour éliminer le dioxyde de carbone d'un absorbant d'amine riche en dioxyde de carbone. Le système de régénération comprend une tour de régénération conçue pour recevoir l'absorbant d'amine riche en dioxyde de carbone et de la vapeur d'eau, l'absorbant d'amine riche en dioxyde de carbone et la vapeur d'eau étant mis en contact dans la tour de régénération pour éliminer le dioxyde de carbone de l'absorbant d'amine riche en dioxyde de carbone et pour générer un absorbant d'amine pauvre. Le système de régénération comprend en outre un ou plusieurs éléments chauffants conçus pour recevoir et chauffer directement l'absorbant d'amine pauvre pour générer de la vapeur d'eau, la vapeur d'eau générée étant transportée dans la tour de régénération.
