Abstract

L'invention concerne un auto-injecteur destiné à recevoir et faire fonctionner une cassette, qui comprend un récipient médicinal, une aiguille, et un protège-aiguille. L'auto-injecteur comprend un corps principal et un levier qui peut se déplacer entre des positions ouverte et fermée. Dans la position ouverte, la cassette peut être insérée ou retirée. L'auto-injecteur comprend également un système de verrouillage maintenant une tige de piston dans une position rétractée pour recevoir la cassette. Un système de liaison, couplé à la tige de piston, libère la tige de piston lorsqu'il est pressé contre la peau, utilisant l'énergie provenant d'un ressort d'entraînement principal pour administrer le médicament via l'aiguille de la cassette. Après l'administration, l'ouverture du levier fait coulisser la tige de piston de manière distale pour recharger le ressort.
