Abstract

La présente invention concerne un ARN double brin composé d'un premier brin et d'un second brin. Le premier brin comporte une séquence principale comprenant 19 à 23 bases , la base à l'extrémité 5' étant la guanine (G) ou la cytosine (C), et une séquence supplémentaire comportant 2 à 4 bases ajoutées à l'extrémité 3' de la séquence principale. En outre, la séquence principale est déterminée à partir d'une séquence de bases codant pour une protéine L du VRS et comporte l'une quelconque des séquences de bases suivantes : CUUGUUAAGCAGUUUGAGU (SEQ ID NO: 1); CAGUUUGAGUAUGUUAAGA (SEQ ID NO: 2); GUUAAGAGGUGCCUUUAUA (SEQ ID NO: 3).
