Abstract
La présente divulgation concerne des méthodes de traitement d'ossification hétérotopique non génétique et d'autres affections à médiation par MMP. De telles méthodes visent à inhiber la MMP active ou à inhiber l'activation de MMP dans des applications thérapeutiques. De telles méthodes comprennent l'utilisation d'anticorps anti-MMP-9 dirigés contre la MMP-9. Ces méthodes évitent les effets délétères de traitement de l'ossification hétérotopique non génétique et d'autres affections médiées par MMP avec des inhibiteurs de MMP à large spectre.
