Abstract

L'invention concerne un mélange d'un alcool réducteur de méthane polyhalogéné et d'un sel de choline. Selon un aspect, l'invention concerne un mélange eutectique d'un alcool polyhalogéné et de chlorure de choline à un rapport molaire de l'alcool polyhalogéné : chlorure de choline choisi dans un intervalle de 3,5 : 1 à 1 : 1,15. Le mélange eutectique est sous forme liquide à température ambiante et est utile pour réduire l'émission de méthane par un ruminant.
