Abstract

L'invention concerne un câble à fibre optique qui comprend : une fibre optique de petit diamètre qui est placée dans un premier état et comporte une partie de fibre optique en verre présentant une section centrale et une gaine, et une enveloppe entourant la périphérie externe de la partie de fibre optique en verre, le diamètre externe de l'enveloppe étant compris entre 176 µm et 220 µm ; et une fibre optique de diamètre ultra-fin qui est placée dans un second état et comprend une partie de fibre optique en verre comprenant une section centrale et une gaine, et une enveloppe entourant la périphérie externe de la partie de fibre optique en verre, le diamètre externe de l'enveloppe étant compris entre 150 µm et 175 µm. La perte par microcourbures d'une fibre optique monomode standard définie selon ITU-T G.652 et ayant un diamètre de fibre de 250 µm dans un cas où la fibre optique monomode est placée dans le premier état est supérieure à la perte par microcourbures dans un cas où la fibre optique monomode est placée dans le second état.
