Un mode de réalisation de la présente invention divulgue un système d'alimentation pour un navire à propulsion électrique MVDC, comprenant : un bloc d'alimentation pour générer de l'énergie ; un redresseur correspondant à un bloc d'alimentation associé de manière correspondante au bloc d'alimentation ; une unité de distribution MVDC pour recevoir l'énergie à travers le redresseur correspondant au bloc d'alimentation ; et une borne de charge pour recevoir l'énergie générée à partir du bloc d'alimentation sans passer à travers l'unité de distribution MVDC.
