Abstract

Biomagnetic stimulator - dorsal strap intended for domestic animals with rheumatism represents invention that belongs to the field of veterinary - physiotherapeutical devices that for revealing or stimulation of reflex points on body i.e. acupunctural points. It represents application of knowledge in the field of acupuncture with animals and magnetic therapy to a particular article, a dorsal strap extending from a neck to a tail. It is made of a natural cotton or a leather. Magnetic stimulation of acupunctural points is achieved by means of 13 permanent magnets having force of 600 gausses insowed in the insert of strap. Magnets are inserted where spots 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13 are. Magnets are set so that by its north pole, i.e. rounded side of magnet lean directly to a particular part of body, i.e. acupunctural point. By application of magnetic field of one magnet to particular acupunctural points in this case points of Du channel 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14. In this way combination of effects of an acupunctural point stimulation and a magnetic field is achieved, and there is no need for an acupuncturist to participate, some wider application is enabled and the use can be independent or along with medicamental therapy.
