HERBICIDI, herbicidni preparat obuhvata estarske, amidne, arilne i heterociklične derivate monične kiseline A, monične kiseline B, monične kiseline C, ketona monične kiseline i pseudomonične kiseline. Novi estri monične kiseline mogu se predstaviti formulom (mon)-CO-XR3, gde je (mon) ostatak jedinjenja monične kiseline, (mon)-COOH, X je O ili S, a R3 je alkil grupa, zamenjena grupom -A-R11 gde je A O ili grupa S(O)x a R11 je po potrebi zamenjena alikl, alkenil, alkinil, fenil, alkil karbonil, cikloalkil ili heterociklil grupa.
