Abstract

El presente se relaciona con un proceso de efectividad en el costo industrialmente ventajoso para aislar imipenem de alta pureza de la fórmula (1), que comprende cristalizar a temperatura baja monohidrato de imipenem a partir de una solución del mismo que contiene un solvente orgánico miscible en agua, un solvente acuoso o una mezcla de los mismos, sin utilizar liofilización, secado por congelamiento ni técnicas cromatográficas.
