Abstract
Un propulsor está provisto de un electromotor que se encuentra en una carcasa dispuesta en forma de góndola en el lado inferior de un casco de barco. En el árbol propulsor que porta el rotor del electromotor está acoplada a lo menos una hélice. Para que tal equipo propulsor pueda resistir cargas por impacto, el estator del electromotor está fijado en el rotor por medio de cojinetes rotativos y el módulo constituido por el rotor y el estator se apoya elásticamente tanto en la carcasa como en el árbol propulsor. Máquinas eléctricas, que pueden ser motores o generadores, con un rotor con superconductores de alta temperatura, un criostato de rotor, un árbol de rotor y una criounión con un crioconductor entre el criostato y un generador de frío, así como un estator con tecnología no superconductora, para aplicación en barcos navales. Las máquinas están conformadas resistentes a impactos, estando el estator, el rotor y el criostato desacoplados cinemáticamente, mediante elementos elásticos, con respecto a una carcasa de máquina externa y al árbol de rotor. Un propulsor eléctrico a hélice presenta un fuste que aloja líneas de suministro de energía y a lo menos un electromotor con a lo menos una hélice, dispuesto debajo de la popa del barco por medio de una unión popa-fuste giratoria, en la cual la unión popa-fuste, el fuste y el motor están conformados de modo que la popa del barco, el fuste y el motor puedan resistir sin danos explosiones submarinas, para lo cual, a) el fuste en sí mismo está conformado en forma elásticamente deformable, b) la unión popa-fuste está conformada permitiendo desplazamientos del fuste con respecto a la popa del barco y c) el electromotor está desarrollado para absorber aceleraciones mayores a 10 g.
