Abstract

Un procedimiento de síntesis de hidrocarburos (HCS) en el cual el reactor Fischer-Tropsch actúa para maximizar la selectividad hasta una fracción de ebullición por arriba de los 371°C al mismo tiempo que se minimiza la producción de productos menos valiosos tales como gases livianos (C1-C4),nafta y fracciones diesel. Se utilizan los modos de operación de la invención para neutralizar los efectos de la desactivación del catalizador y para maximizar la selectividad hasta una fracción de un punto de ebullición por arriba de los 371°C que incluyen, a)reducir la velocidad de ingreso del gas para mantener un nivel de conversión de CO óptimo, b)introducir un catalizador activo adicional hasta que se alcanza una carga máxima,y c)aumentar la temperatura del reactor hasta que la productividad alcanza un nivel de corte predeterminado.
