Abstract

Ultrasonido para utilización en la promoción de una reacción química que es generado por un electroimán formado a partir de un par de espigas magnetoestrictivas enrolladas con bobinas que están orientadas para producir una fuerza magnetoestrictiva oscilante cuando una tensión oscilante es aplicada, en conjunto con un electroimán sensor de material magnetoestrictivo que está dispuesto para recibir las vibraciones generadas por el electroimán impulsor y producir cambios de campo magnéticos internos debido al efecto magnetoestrictivo inverso. Estos cambios de campo generan tensiones que son representativas de la amplitud de la fuerza magnetoestrictiva oscilante. La tensión generada es comprada a un valor objetivo en un circuito de control que ajusta la tensión oscilante aplicada en forma consecuente. Las oscilaciones de las espigas del electroimán son transmitidas a una bobina ultrasónica que está inmersa en el medio de reacción para proporcionar contacto con la mezcla de reacción.
