Abstract
La presente se refiere a un método y a un equipo con el cual la solución de extracción de solución orgánica se purifica del arrastre de la solución acuosa y de las impurezas durante la extracción hidrometalúrgica líquida-líquida. El método trata una solución de extracción orgánica que está cargada con un metal valioso o sustancia valiosa de la solución acuosa. La finalidad es llevar a cabo la separación física de las gotas de agua y la remoción química de las impurezas de la solución de extracción orgánica en forma simultánea. El equipo consiste en un tanque rectangular (1), cuya cañería de alimentación, esta equipada con varios elementos de descarga, separados en forma pareja y espaciados a lo largo del ancho del tanque. En el interior del mismo se encuentran elementos cercados (13, 14), constituidos por ranuras. Tanto la cañería de salida de solución orgánica como la de agua, están conectadas a varios elementos de succión.
