Abstract

Sólido poroso amorfo de naturaleza acídica, con tamaño de poro controlado, consistente esencialmente en un óxido mixto de silicio, aluminio y fósforo, con un área de superficie de por lo menos 200 m2/g, que puede ser usado como catalizador o portador activo de un catalizador en varios procedimientos industriales tales como, por ejemplo, alquilación, isomerización, hidro-deshidrogenación, con actividad y selectividad mejoradas con respecto a los geles tradicionales de sílice-alúmina amorfa.
