Abstract

Miembros absorbentes en nucleos absorbentes para artículos absorbentes. Destinados a recibir y retener descargas corporales tales como la orina. Dichos artículos son artículos para la higiene desechables como los panales para bebés, calzones entrenadores, artículos para la incontinencia en adultos, artículos para la higiene femenina y lo similar. La mejora se basa esencialmente en el reconocimiento de que es deseable reemplazar la mayoría o todos los materiales absorbentes fibrosos almohadillados en un nucleo absorbente por un material para almacenar líquidos capaz de retener líquido mientras mantiene o mejora su comportamiento de captacion compensando al mismo tiempo la reduccion del almohadillado con mayor comodidad. Para proveer tales miembros absorbentes y artículos hechos con ello, fue posible solo con el desarrollo de nuevos geles altamente permeables y absorbentes especialmente capaces de captar y conducir líquidos a las concentraciones de polímeros superabsorbentes que no se usan hoy.
