Abstract
Se describe una formulacion de combinacion de fosfomicina más tobramicina para aplicar en aerosol. La formulacion de combinacion de fosfomicina/tobramicina concentrada que contiene una cantidad eficaz de fosfomicina más tobramicina es capaz de inhibir bacterias susceptibles. La fosfomicina y tobramicina se formulan separadamente en una ampolla dual de modo tal que al reconstruirse, el pH se encuentra entre 4,5 y 8,0 o como polvo seco. El método para el tratamiento de infecciones del tracto respiratorio mediante una formulacion aplicada como aerosol que posee diámetro promedio de masa predominante entre 1 a 5 (mu), producido por un nebulizador a chorro o ultrasonico (o equivalente) o inhalador de polvo seco.
