Abstract
La presente se refiere a un método para producir mata tal como cobre o mata de níquel o metal bruto tal como cobre ampolloso en un horno de fusión en suspensión tal como un horno de fusión rápida o un horno de conversión rápida. El decantador (8) se extiende en dos direcciones opuestas desde una zona de incidencia (7) para un chorro de suspensión oxidada (6) por debajo del ducto de reacción (5) en el decantador (8) de manera tal que el decantador (8) comprende una primera parte del decantador (18) en un primer lado de la zona de incidencia (7) y una segunda parte del decantador sobre un segundo lado, opuesto, de la zona de incidencia (7).
