Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una CM-MFC de baja viscosidad que comprende un grado de sustitución de 0,2 - 0,29, preferentemente con una viscosidad entre 6700 - 9900 cP con un husillo R4 a 100 rpm al 1% p/p y una viscosidad entre 65 - 85 cP con un husillo R4 a 10 rpm al 0.8% p/p y un método para producir una CM-MFC de baja viscosidad, que comprende: desfibrar la CMC resultante con un disco giratorio y un rotor estacionario con una dispersión de agua del 4 - 10% p/p para obtener un CM-MFC en una medida en que el diámetro medio de la fibra de CM-MFC esté entre 0,8 mm y 8 mm.
