Order to temporarily limit the consumption of electricity from the electricity network.

The very strong fluctuations in the loads on the electricity works in the different times of the day reduce the economic efficiency of these, especially when it comes to caloric works. But even hydraulic works, especially if they do not have the appropriate storage facilities and their output is barely sufficient, have the need to make energy consumption as even as possible or to block it completely for certain types of electricity consumption or only in the so-called load valleys, and even with reduced electricity prices to allow. For this purpose, double tariff meters, overcurrent meters, current limiters and the like are used. Like. Applied.

However, such current limiters represent more or less complicated special devices that also have their own power consumption either during the blocking time or during the release time, such as. B. the current limiter D. R. P. No. 258479, which does not work with hand switches, but with contactors that switch on again automatically. On the other hand, the purpose of the invention submitted by us is to use normal or slightly modified handsets to block and release certain devices connected at low prices, i.e. not an actual current limitation, but to convey a time limit.

The subject of the invention is an arrangement which is suitable to allow the use of certain tariff-subsidized power consumption bodies only at certain, pre-set times or to release the respective maximum of the permissible power consumption at different times, with only automatic overcurrent switches of the type currently used as a replacement for Fuses are needed, so they are relatively cheap, since commercially available apparatus, at best with voltage instead of current windings, or only with an additional voltage winding.

If voltage windings are used, according to the invention these should not be loaded continuously, but only for the purpose of triggering the manually switched-on self-switch, i.e. only for a moment, with the exception of the case where one and the same self-switch is to serve for different power consumption bodies, in which case the additional voltage winding during remains switched on during the entire idle time. However, this case can easily be avoided by arranging separate circuit breakers for each current consuming element.

Such an arrangement is shown schematically in Figs. 1-4, u. between. In Fig. 1 for the
 EMI1.1
its winding 2 is excited.'3 and is a clockwork operated and optionally adjustable contact, which is open when the use of the power consumption body 5 is permitted. 6 is a series resistor for the winding 2, e.g. B. an incandescent lamp, which then acts as a warning
 EMI1.2
 is switched on.

The mode of operation of this arrangement is as follows: At the time when the power consumption body 5 is not to be switched on, it is due to the previous setting and the function of the clockwork
