Description

In beiden Drehrichtungen gleichgerichtet fördernde Kolbenpumpe.

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Piston pump delivering in the same direction in both directions of rotation.

In the case of slide-controlled pumps, it is known that when the direction of rotation is reversed, the direction of delivery also changes, unless special reversing elements are provided to prevent this.

The present invention relates to a lubricating pump with slide control, delivering in the same direction in both directions of rotation, in particular for lubricating purposes, the strokes of which are generated by a cam or bevel ring groove gear. In order to prevent a reversal of the conveying direction when reversing the direction of rotation, the lifting cam was already accommodated in a sleeve rotatable between two driver stops in such pumps. The stops are offset from one another by the angle required to reverse the slide control.

According to the invention, when the direction of rotation is changed, instead of a sleeve containing the lift curve, the slide piece engaging in the lift-determining annular groove is displaced in its holder by the angle which is necessary for reversing. In this way, one part of the subject matter of the invention, namely the sleeve, can be saved compared to the known pump. This is particularly important with small pumps that are supposed to be quite cheap.

In the drawing, the embodiment of the subject invention is shown a lubricating pump.

Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section through the pump cylinder with the piston in view; Fig. 2 is a cross-section along line A-B in Fig. 1 when driven in the direction of the arrow drawn.

Fig. 3 shows the same cross section as Fig. 2; but the pump is in the opposite direction
 EMI1.1

In a pump body a, a liner b is inserted and closed on one side by a base c. A piston d is inserted through the open side, which is rotated by means of a square e and also by an incised on its circumference. inclined ring groove and a sliding ball g seated in the bushing b is raised and lowered.

The ball g lies in a circumferential slot p of the sleeve b that it protrudes almost halfway into the annular groove of the piston. The ball is inserted through a subsequently closed opening q in the pump body.

When lifting, the piston sucks into the enlarging cylinder space 01 below it through the suction port h and the bore t in the cylinder wall and through recesses k and m in the lower part, which pass by the bore t during the suction stroke. When the piston lowers during the pressure stroke, the recesses pass a hole n in the cylinder wall. The previously sucked in oil is pressed through this bore n and the pressure port o of the lubrication line, not shown.

If the drive direction of the piston is changed, e.g. B. from that indicated by arrow J in Fig. 2 to that indicated by arrow 77 in Fig. 3, the ball g is first pushed from the end of the slot q serving as a stop for this direction of rotation to the other end, which also forms a stop . The length of the slot is dimensioned so that the piston can rotate to the extent that corresponds to the angle required for reversing the rotary slide control - in the present case 1800 - without having to perform a stroke.

Does the ball have its other end position in the transverse slot

reached, then with further torque the piston starts to deliver again, u. in the same direction of flow as before with the opposite direction of rotation.

For the idea of the invention it is of course immaterial whether the cylinder or the piston is driven or whether the inclined groove is accommodated in this or that. It is also subordinate to whether the member working together with the lifting cam moves in its holder when the direction of rotation is reversed or whether the holder rotates against the member when switching over until the other stop is reached.
