Description
Automatic reversal of a pressure pump without a valve. In known embodiments of gear pumps, the pressure and suction space changes when the direction of rotation is changed even if.
The subject matter of the present invention be the automatic reversal of a pressure pump without a valve, in such a way that when changing the direction of rotation of the drive shaft, the pressure and suction chamber remains the same.
In the drawing, an example embodiment of the subject invention is shown.
Fig. 1 shows a section of a gear pump; FIG. 2 shows a plan view of the same, and FIG. 3 shows a section along the line I-I in FIG. 1.
The drive shaft 1 is firmly connected to the gear 2 wheel. The gear 2 drives the pinion 3 in the same direction of rotation as the drive shaft 1. The pinion 3 is eccentric with respect to the gear 2 ver sets and on the hub 5 of the guide piece 4 is placed. The guide piece 4 carries on its lower side corresponding to the radii of the gear wheel 2 and the pinion 3, the part 6 (fix. 3) engaging sealingly between these parts 2, 3 and on its upper side a pin 7. The pin 7 runs in the guide track 8 which is let into the cover 9. The housing 11 has two slots 10, one leading to the Ansang and the other to the pressure space.
The mode of operation is as follows: According to FIG. 2, the drive shaft 1 and the gearwheel 2 rotate in the counterclockwise direction. A is the suction space from which the liquid to be pumped, e.g. B. 01, gaps in the freed tooth: the two gears 2 and 3 ge reached. The 01 is then inevitably guided along the section 6 and then transported through the slot 10 in the housing 11 into the pressure area B. The stop pin 7 is held in the guide track 8 in the cover 9 in its upper end (FIG. 2), so that the guide piece 4 can no longer rotate and the pump works as indicated.
When changing the direction of rotation, the stop pin 7 with the guide piece 4 is rotated by 180, so that the pin 7 is held at the opposite end of the guide track 8 in the cover 9 and the guide piece 4 can no longer rotate, the pump consequently as follows. works: The tooth gaps of the two gears 2 and 3 that are released in each case suck in the oil from suction chamber A. This is then performed in the tooth gaps the part piece 6 along to then be conveyed through the slot 10 into the pressure chamber B.
