Double-ball air pump valve for explosion engines, especially in motor vehicles.
The object of the invention is the improved design of an air pump valve, which is attached to the engine cylinder in place of the spark plug, so that the engine can be used as an air pump, be it for inflating the pneumatic tires or for an atomizing syringe when cleaning the motor vehicle or for other purposes. The new air pump valve is characterized in that a large ball is used for the suction valve, above which the small ball of the pressure valve is arranged directly, while radially arranged bores lead to the suction valve and axial bores are provided in the valve housing, on the one hand in one between the two balls existing valve chamber, on the other hand, open into an upwardly closed chamber which is in communication with the cylinder.
This air pump valve is characterized by great sensitivity, whereby a function of the suction valve on the cylinder for the gas mixture is switched off and as a result pure outside air is available that does not contain any gas mixture. The exact closure of the pressure and suction valve increases the efficiency of the air pump valve considerably, and a high air pressure can also be achieved in a short time.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment, u. Between shows: FIG. 1 a longitudinal section, FIG. 2 a cross section.
The air pump valve has a hexagonal threaded connector a which is intended to be screwed into the threaded hole for the spark plug. The threaded connector a is provided with the central bore b which opens into a chamber c. This is closed at the top by a ceiling d. The valve housing e is connected to the threaded connector and a sleeve is attached to it. In the valve housing e there is the valve seat g on which the large ball h rests loosely. Radial bores i, which open into the central bore k of the valve seat, are arranged below the valve seat g.
Furthermore, in the valve housing e, offset to the bores i, axial bores 1, which extend down into the chamber c, are in communication at the top with the valve chamber m, through the valve housing c of the pressure valve screwed into the sleeve f upwards is completed.
The small ball q of the pressure valve sits on the valve seat p. A threaded connector r to which the air line can be connected is connected to the valve housing c.
The valve arrangement works as follows: During the suction stroke of the piston, outside air is drawn into the cylinder, and the like. between if this enters the bores i, the opening suction

in the cylinder. When the piston is reversed, the air in the cylinder is pushed outwards, the resulting compressed air passes through the main bore b, chamber c and axial channels 1 into chamber m, from here it presses on the large ball h and at the same time against the small ball q. This closes the suction valve and opens the pressure valve, so the air can escape through the hole s into the air line.
