Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

    Umscimürte Eisenbetonsäule,
 EMI1.1

    Surrounded reinforced concrete column,
 EMI1.1
The considerable difference between the concrete tension inside and outside the constriction of the longitudinal iron requires special securing of the shells surrounding the constriction in such heavily reinforced columns.

According to the invention, this securing takes place in that with a longitudinal reinforcement made of steel of at least St 52 or cast iron with a compressive strength of over 50001calm2
 EMI1.2
Constriction in the concrete shell of the column is not used to absorb the vertical load on the column; its only purpose is to prevent the concrete on the outside of the column from jumping off.
 EMI1.3
 Manufacture, shown.

The production of the shells of the tied reinforced concrete column can be done in one operation with the concreting of the tied up building skeletons, or the shell is applied (plastered up) afterwards.

According to FIG. 2, the inner diameter of the formwork 4 is selected in the usual way to be so much larger than that of the strapped column skeleton 1, 2 as is prescribed for this in terms of fire protection. According to the invention, a second non-load-bearing constriction 7 (FIG. 2) made of thin wire rod or the like is arranged in the formwork to secure the shell 6 from jumping off. Instead of this wrapping, sheet metal formwork 8, known per se, made of sheet metal perforated in the manner of a grater, which only needs to be plastered from the outside after the concreting has been completed, can be used to reinforce the shell. In this case, this sheet metal tube 8 can also be used as formwork (Fig. 3).

If the production of the column and the shell is to be carried out in two work steps, the formwork 3 according to FIG. 1 must sit directly on the load-bearing constriction of the reinforcement skeleton 1, 2. The shell 6 of the column reinforced according to the invention is in this case produced in a second operation after the column has been completed. After the concrete of the column core has set, the formwork 3 is removed, whereupon
 EMI1.4
according to the invention laced cladding shell is used.
