Device for ironing with an electric iron without a cord.
The invention relates to those known ironing devices in which an electric iron is heated intermittently when it is set up on a latch equipped with a power connection.
In order to be able to use the common iron with vertically arranged connector pins in a device of this type, it has already been proposed to place contact bridges on the pins, which come to rest with their current-carrying ends with the contacts of the offset plate. According to the invention, these contact bridges, which can be stuck onto the pins of the iron, consist of several articulated links for the purposes of the individual designs of the electrical

to be able to use the settling plate for all irons in question.
Furthermore, according to the invention, the wall of the housing of the set-down plate accommodating the switch is drawn in in a funnel-shaped manner at the points of passage for the legs of the contact bridges in order to facilitate insertion.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the ironing device is shown. The legs F of the contact bridges to be pushed onto the pins B of the iron ji are provided with sockets D.

Seekel F headed.
The holder housing made of insulating material is at the penetration points. 11 for the
Seekel G of the contact bridges drawn in like a funnel. Contact plates 0 are provided in the housing so that they can pivot about the bolts I. When the iron is deposited, these plates come into contact against the action of springs P with the contact lamellas L, which are connected to the connector pins K of the housing.
Since the connection between the iron and the holder housing of the offset plate can be adjusted as required due to the articulated design of the contact bridges, the plate can be used for irons with different arrangements of the connector pins (horizontal and vertical arrangement).
PATENT CLAIMS:
