Serving for rolling up tin cans, consisting of two parts that can be stuck onto one another
Key.

The invention relates to a key which is used to roll up sheet metal cans and consists of two parts that can be plugged onto one another, and the invention consists in that the slot for opening

 pages is arranged.

The key consists of two parts, u. between the one key part, as can be seen in the drawing, Fig. 1, is a square iron with an obliquely slotted shoulder a (in Fig. 3 in section), which is in the second hollow square iron (Fig. 2 and 4) can be inserted. Each key part has a wing b at the end, which is used to turn the key. In FIG. 5, the double key is illustrated as it is pushed onto the cover plate sheet metal tongue (pull tab) of a sardine can. The double key is turned with both hands and thus becomes the soldered cover sheets of the cans, no matter how hard they are soldered, detached and unrolled with particular ease.

The double key can be easily pulled out of the rolled up cover plate without getting dirty and can be used again immediately.

The advantages of this key over the known keys are that the inclined slot in the key prevents the sheet metal tongue from slipping out, but the hollow square iron enables both sides to rotate and prevents the expenditure of force due to greater leverage.
