<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Closing organ with which can be lifted off its seat before initiating its rotational movement

EMI1.1
Tax organs admittedly a certain shift of the
Closure body is effected, but this
Displacement does not take place in such a way that a uniform lifting of the closure body from all areas of the assigned to it
Seat would be guaranteed. Rather, the wedge effect of the control members causes a lateral displacement of the axis of the closure body when it is lifted off, so that the closure body lifted from one area of its seat surface will remain slidingly in contact with another area of the latter.
But this is special
Mass an outcry and leakage of the
The contact surface between the closure body and its seat is conditional, since, above all, during the final movement the closure body, which is offset from its axial direction defined by the seat, is only returned to the seat surface by the seat surfaces
Direction needs to be squeezed.
The invention is based on the object
To create the final organ that the mentioned
Avoids disadvantages in which it can be clearly seen whether the closure body is in its from
Seat lifted or adjacent to it
Position is located and in which the organs controlling the lifting movement of the closure body are largely avoided, such that a certain position of this
Organs always corresponds to a certain position of the liftable and rotatable closure body.
According to the invention, this is achieved above all in that the closure body has extensions guided in the housing for the purpose of inevitably lifting it off in the direction of its axis of rotation and which are in a controlling connection with the device for lifting the closure body.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the subject invention is shown, u. Between. FIG. 1 shows an axial vertical section through the closing element designed as a cock, while FIG. 2 shows an associated top view.

Sitting 3, 4 rests, a spring 5 can be provided to push the chick down.
The rotary movement of the plug is brought about by means of the actuating lever 6.
The chick continues downward into a central guide 7 which penetrates the housing 1 of the tap in a sealing manner and rests against the lever 8, which is hinged to the housing 1 at 9. This lever 8 is in an articulated connection with the rod 10, to which the end of a Bowden cable 11 is attached, the other end of which leads to a handle 12 which is rotatably arranged at 13 on the actuating lever 6. The handle 12 has a beak-like extension 14 which engages in one or the other of the recesses 15 of a plate 16 which is arranged above the tap housing 1.
The mode of operation is as follows: By pressing the operating lever 6 and the handle 12 against each other with one hand, the latter rotates and lifts the chick 2 upwards via the Bowden cable, which releases it from its seat and by means of the operating lever 6 can be rotated a quarter turn; as soon as this rotary movement has been carried out, the actuating lever and the handle are released again so that the beak 14 engages in the corresponding recess 15, whereupon the chick is pressed down again by the spring 5.
This embodiment has the advantage that the chick must be loosened in any case before any rotational movement, since the handle 12 inevitably blocks the movement of the actuating lever 6 due to the engagement of its beak 14 in one of the recesses 15.
